In March of 2016, BAMFaktory had the opportunity to help Lindsey M. from Girl Scouts Beyond Bars Troop 1500 on her quest to give Urban Roots, an Austin non-profit farm where she interned, a beautiful mural and garden as part of her Gold Award project.

In an effort to give Urban Roots a voice without speaking, Lindsey designed the mural with a message that the care of the earth is in our hands, while also highlighting some friends she met there and the bountiful harvest they offer. Brad and Sam lent their helping hands to get her vision up on their shed. Through the garden, Lindsey also created a set of beautiful mosaic tiles, each featuring a word pertaining to what the farm means to some of the other students that have interned there.

This is a speed-painting video of a recent volunteer project, with which BAMFaktory assisted with large-scale reproduction and mural painting. ________________________________________________________
