One weird niche that exists is the ex weird little girl who is now a weird adult and has somehow come to the conclusion that no girl liked traditionally feminine or girly things and that anything which is aimed at traditionally feminine interests is somehow inherently misguided because they wouldn’t’ve wanted it when they were 9.

This was prompted by me being remembering that post that had someone make a comic about the Lego Friends line and talking about how pointless and dumb and sexist a line aimed specifically at girls was because she didn’t like “girly” stuff as a kid. But like the line she was criticizing is super over the top successful and popular. And like some of y’all really don’t get that some little girls really do just like horses and pink and fashion and shit and you’re not fighting sexism saying that toy companies shouldn’t make that kinda stuff.
