1. who gets jealous more easily?

i am such a jealous hermann truther it's not even funny, and i might even argue it's semi-canon per uprising (citation: the entire alice namedrop/invitation to dinner scene, he was NOT having that). he wants newt to himself and himself alone. not even just in a romantic way, i think he'd get jealous if someone tried to even argue science with newt or publicly lambast one of his theories. newt is literally his scientific rival

& he's definitely very obvious about it too, like, glaring at people who try to flirt with newt (even pre-relationship), finding excuses to get newt alone at parties/conferences/events/etc, maybe even allowing himself some tentative public physical contact with newt (brushing their shoulders together when they're walking somewhere or letting newt touch his back or put an arm around his shoulders....), giving him hickeys

2. tiny habits:

hermann would love listening to newt sing under his breath throughout the day while he does random tasks; newt would love how hermann accidentally puts his sweater on inside out and/or backwards some mornings and doesn't notice it for hours

Little information on the Bird Rescue in the Bird Newmann AU thingy

Yes i made a bird pun out of Shatterdome lmao.

The injured birds/ birds that cant survive in freedom live in this massive dome with trees, a river, a lake and a little mountain like terrain. Some get released and others stay there their whole life.

Meet Tendo. Chatterdomes current mascot. A talkative chipper cockatoo. Workers have to protect their coffee from him tho. He likes to drink it even as a bird he shouldnt do that.

Tendo likes to welcome new birds and got quite a liking to the newest birds Hermann and Newton.

I gave Herms a ring thingy scientists put on birds to keep track on them. He got hurt and ended up in their care and now has that ring on his leg. They keep an eye on him ever since and definetly are confused about him not looking for a partner from his own kind.
