mods that I love part 3/?

I'm addicted to mods if you haven't seen my previous posts, check them out here. as always: I have the "popular" mods such as UI cheats, MCCC, SOL, etc. these posts are solely for mods that may not be as well known, and they make an impact in my game. quick note: I am including direct links to the mods, but please make sure you read the descriptions for each mod and make sure you are downloading the most up-to-date version of it. For example, if you are reading this a year from now, these links may be a bit out of date. let's get into it yuh!

1. chingyu base game traits - I favor the rewards traits version because that way you can have your normal three traits, and then add on as many reward traits as you'd like, but there is a cas version as well. I'm always looking for ways to add more personality to my sims, so this is a great mod to add to your game for that.

2. thepancake1's cute romance mod - every post I make about mods so far, I usually add something that will implement more gameplay for couples, and this mod right here is the ONE. It adds interactions from previous sims games such as the DIP KISS and even a bed make-out interaction. I love this mod.

3. brazen lotus terrarium override - okay this technically isn't a mod, but I'm including it anyway bc I'm grateful. For those of you that collect insects, this override makes collecting them look SO much prettier 🥺

4. lumpinou's psychic sims mod - this mod is a great addition for witchy gameplay! It's SO cool and there's quite a bit you can do with this mod such as making ominous predictions for other sims. I personally enjoy making my sim be a little mischievous toward sims she doesn't like heheehoheoehu anyway-

I added an extra mod in there bc I felt bad one of them technically wasn't a mod, I just had to share it. Hopefully you enjoyed this post, if you have any suggestions for mods that I should try, let me know!

the holiday in my game is actually Yule, but they celebrated it like Christmas, lol. I tried with the yule logs here and there, but alas, still Christmas-themed. 🎄🎅 oh well. Florence was, once again, the chef for the occasion.🤣 She made ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, crab-stuffed mushrooms (no one ate it tho), artichoke dip, stollen, Winterfest pudding, and a yule log cake! FYI: I did use custom recipes, I am WCIF friendly :')

Hey! This is for the sim ask game! Can you answer 10?

oh cute!! Number 10 is “What kind of childhood did they have?”

Florence (she/her) had a difficult upbringing and had a complicated relationship with her mom. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and she and her older brother lived with their dad primarily as he was, let’s just say, more mature than her mom was. However, her dad died so she and Archer had to move back in with their mom. She wasn’t a very responsible or attentive mother, so it wasn’t particularly a great living environment. After Florence went to college to begin her new life, things got better with her mom and they were able to repair their relationship. Her mom did not attend the wedding though, and Florence does not understand why.

Charlotte’s (they/she) upbringing was a lot easier than their wife’s. They are the middle child and have 2 sisters. The only thing is that their parents put a lot of pressure on their children to be successful. Olivia (charlotte’s older sister) is a big time businesswoman and married a doctor, so she is very successful. Vivian (charlotte’s younger sister) plays in a symphony orchestra in the city, and she puts on an act when she’s in front of her parents and dresses differently—she is passionate about music but likes to dress a certain way that her parents wouldn’t approve of, so she feels that she has to dress nicer and act differently in front of them. Charlotte is a very successful lawyer, and has made it big by even representing a big business in the city (why they moved to San Myshuno in the first place), yet their parents don’t seem to be as supportive as they could be. They have something to be disappointed about regardless of what they do. Charlotte has tried asking their dad if he’d like to be represented by them, but he refuses.

so basically… they have complicated relationships with their parents 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ charlotte’s parents adore Florence, and Florence’s mom loves Charlotte. It’s just complicated. I know the question asks about their childhood, but their relationship with their parents alone kind of explains what their childhood was like. thanks for asking 🥺

mods that I love part 2/?

I'm addicted to mods if you haven't seen my previous post, you can find it here. I know it's been a bit since my first post, but I want to post more of these. Again, I have the "popular" mods such as UI cheats, MCCC, SOL, etc. these posts are solely for mods that may not be as well known, and they make an impact in my game. quick note: I am including direct links to the mods, but please make sure you read the descriptions for each mod and make sure you are downloading the most up-to-date version of it. 1. zero's custom degrees mod - okay, I haven't used this mod yet, but only because I don't have any sims in university right now. I am so excited for my sims kids to be old enough to go to college just so I can use this mod. The post explains more in detail so please read it, but essentially it just adds new, that's right NEW, degree options for your sims. Some of the new ones they included are environmental science, archaeology, music, and education. There are more than that as well, so now their major's aren't as broad ;)

2. SHEnanigans drama mod & Helaene Insults & Arguments Pack - I get bored in my game, and in the past, I've had to try very hard to make my sims fight about something so that it will make my game more interesting. But ever since I added these two mods to my game, my sims bicker more, and their relationship will randomly go down lol. This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but life isn't always sunshine and rainbows. I live for the mundane drama.

3. Shimrod's Pillow Talk mod - In my previous post I linked a mod for cuddling in bed, so it feels right to include this one as well. The title is pretty self-explanatory, after woohoo they do their little pillow talk thang :') it's cute okay, I added three new mod suggestions to the list, and I included a small bonus interactions mod in there 😉 if you have any suggestions for mods that I should try, let me know!

how it ended... they enjoyed their vacation! however, their trip ended quite shortly due to Charlotte (blonde) falling ill and an argument they had. Charlotte was really sick and was quite uncomfortable, and they were just complaining to Florence (brunette) a lot. I think Florence just got sick of them complaining and burst into anger or something, because all of a sudden they were just arguing in the middle of this tiny little tea house 🤣 they don't always argue, but when they do it's so random. Their friendship & romance decreased quite dramatically, so when they got back home I sent them to marriage counseling haha. Florence did end up apologizing, and they worked everything out. It didn't help how they were also overcoming old wounds as well, so they had a lot to work on. But they are doing better now!

not how it ended, but they enjoyed their vacation for the most part. They got really good at skiing, went hiking, and did a little bit of sledding! 😊
