Your art is genuinely amazing and you're an inspo to me!! I was wondering how you go abt coloring n rendering n stuff like that, what's that process like for you? Have a good day :))
Omg, thank you so much!! It's an honor to know that I'm inspiring someone. I truly appreciate your kind words and support! I ended up taking a while to reply because a lot of things happened, and I needed some time to think about my answer, so I apologize for the delay.
I feel like there are a lot of possible answers to your question, so I hope I can explain myself without rambling too much hahah..
As for coloring, I originally come from a traditional art background and only got into digital art much later, so I feel like I choose colors on the computer more or less the same way I would choose them on a physical palette 🎨. (I'm not sure if that makes sense, but I tend to approach painting in a more "hands-on" way and only use adjustment layers, effects, and similar tools when I feel they're necessary).
When it comes to rendering, that's probably the part I enjoy the most. I love adding details, textures, and all those little things that I'm probably the only one who cares about hahaaha
I especially enjoy experimenting with textures, so I've been working a lot with hatching lately. More generally, I try to push the rendering far enough that every part of the painting feels interesting to look at. Also I'm always thinking about the impression I'm trying to create and the feeling I want the piece to convey.
I'm not sure if this fully answers your question, but I hope it helps in some way :) If you had something more specific like in mind that I didn't cover, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to answer. Have a good day too!! 💕
