I know this isn't a typical thing to post but this is something really important to me. It's just that I have so much love for velocesmells rn & I can't handle it. I've been stalking her tumblr for a while now - but have only recently followed her 'cause I'm a dweeb & I forgot to click the follow button - & I started reading Countdown to Countdown a couple days ago. I just wanna say that she is such a big inspiration to me & her art (omfg the Klance & the CTC art tho) is absolutely beautiful & has left me in awe. Her style is so darn good & not to mention the amount of effort she puts into everything she does (I mean she's studying AND doing a webcomic at the same time AND posting a shit ton of art at her age?? Girl deserves a goddamn medal). If I could ever meet her I'd probably stare at her for an uncomfortably long amount of time because she means so much to me & has reignited my passion for art that was once lost because of my mental illness(es). There is literally so much I wanna say but I'll keep it brief - I just wanted an appreciation post dedicated to her 'cause I don't see those very often. Her art is such a big part in my life now & I wouldn't trade it for anything. I really hope she sees this since this is a big deal to me. (Keep up the good work, Vel! Your recent update on CTC was freaking awesome!) PS: I'm sorry that I'm not that good with words, my vocabulary mainly consists of the word "fuck".

A first meeting. (Modern AU)

There are two ways this story could go, one is that Arthur spots this adorable, clueless, idiot walking around with a leaf in his hair and just can’t help himself, OR Arthur has seen Merlin around and walks around all day with a leaf in his pocket as an excuse to talk to him. I can’t decide which I prefer more. edit: (but i made a comic about it anyway)

well it’s about a character called “The Patient” (the little boy in the picture)

The patient dies and i’ve come up with an explanation of every song on the album on how this story works (not including blood or heaven help us)

The End/Dead!: Well as these songs are 100% just one song split into two parts i’ll explain them as one. This is the patient coming to terms with his death the song is called “The end” as the album seems to be telling the story in a scattered way the chorus of “Dead!” Says “Have You Heard The News That You’re Dead.” in the sense of him being told and accepting that he’s dead and it’s The End

This Is How I Disappear: The Patient has just died/is about to die and is reflecting on horrible things he’s done and sending off to someone he cares about “Without you is how i disappear and live my life alone, forever now” as in as he dies he realizes he’ll never see his loved one “Can you hear me cry out to you words i thought i’d choke on” he’s really trying to talk to this loved one, possibly implying he’s dead and wants to see them once again

The Sharpest Lives: The patient wants to live his life to its fullest before he dies, he’s partying, drinking and making his life as fun as possible “Make This a shot to remember, so you can take all the pain away from me.”

Welcome to the black parade: This one has been explained by gerard, he says the patient is greeted by death in the form of a parade,because it’s his fondest memory from childhood

I don’t love you: The patient has lost someone he loves, it’s very possible this has nothing to do with his sickness and it’s just a memory from his life

House of wolves: he’s remembering being treated as an outcast in his life, again nothing but a memory not anything to do with his sickness

Cancer: This one was the easiest to decipher in my opinion it was very straightforward with it’s meaning, he’s saying goodbye to his family and loved ones

Sleep: I’ll be honest this one is a shot in the dark, but i think of it as he’s starting to get extreme anxiety from his diagnosis and get’s insomnia and night terrors.

Teenagers: Again a hard one but i think i got the meaning of it, He’s remembering how it was when he was a teenager, all the officials being scared to death by him and his friends mischief he’s reflecting on good memories 

Disenchanted: It’s about dreams he’s having out of nervousness to get treated for his sickness and he feels like he lost something and his life lost it’s magic

Famous last words: THIS ONE TIES EVERYTHING TOGETHER. He’s just been diagnosed with his sickness, and he’s in denial “I am not afraid to keep on living, i am not afraid to walk this world alone, honey if you stay I’ll be forgiving, nothing you can say will stop me going home.” He’s talking about how nothing will slow him, he can beat cancer! he’ll never die! he’s fine
