concept: asmodeus making magnus do terrible things with his magic when he was younger.

when lilith said that asmodeus bound her and took over using magnus’ magic, it made me v sad that we won’t be able to dive into that (and edom) more. his magic is so powerful and i bet magnus only uses a fraction of it. he’s so ashamed of his origins and his relation to his father so there’s likely untapped power just brewing beneath the surface that he never touches because it makes his skin crawl.

Hearing his name makes her shudder with the feelings she’s been trying to suppress. “He violated the accords.” Her words are free of emotion as she lets the LAW speak through her. “It was the right thing to do.” Conflicted eyes fall to the mug in her hands. What should be easy and uncomplicated isn’t and it’s beyond annoying. “So why do I feel so bad?”

A RINGED FINGER RIDES THE RIM OF HIS GLASS as a hum comes from the warlock   .   sprawled out on a luxury leather sofa   ,   he considers the observation   .   is he sentimental   ?   for as long as he can be   ,   he supposes   .   "   it's a tricky thing   ,   memory   .   .   .   "   although HIS doesn't work quite like other's   .   magnus doesn't often reflect on what are now such trivial things   ;   a first date   ,   a first kiss   ,   a first broken heart   .   truthfully   ,   he doesn't even remember the face of the first person to shatter him   .   instead he remembers the feeling after a last breath  ,   last smile   ,   or last conversation before death comes to collect someone oh so important to him   .   friends   ,   family   ,   lovers   .   their memories might have been able to bring him some joy or a moment of tranquility before the images in his head went blurry   ,   but more often than not .   .   .   they simply cut   .   "   beautiful & devastating at the same time   .   for that very reason   ,   i used to run from mine   .   attempt to forget   .   but why speed up the process   ?   my tragedy is that i'm over five-hundred years old   .  i'm a man made of memories   .  .  .   and i won't remember any of them in the end   .   "
