Date: January, some time Location: Eden (but the store) Characters: @bansheepaloma & @divinitydiana Notes: hmm
Diana wasn't a goddess of sexual prowess; she made love, she didn't fuck. Sex was overrated otherwise. But she saw the random little store that she'd never seen before and the title of it had perked up every bit of her curiousity. Diana, who'd been walking downtown with Paloma, changed the trajectory of their walk by looping their arms together and dragging her Valkyrie with her.
"What's this?" Diana didn't wait for an answer as she went inside the store and picked up the thing at the window that had caught her attention. "I don't know why this place is named Eden... It looks nothing like Eden. And what is this supposed to be? Some sort of toy fruit?" She squeezed the pink contraption and it started to vibrate.
Paloma had been to many places like this before because, well, she had a lot of escapades in her spare time. She wasn't about to be a prude like a lot of other people she had run into. Not that it was a bad thing. It just wasn't her vibe. She related to her fellow Valkyries like Meera in that regard. Anyway, the point of all of that was to say that Artemis' wonder about everything they were seeing in this shop tickled her endlessly. She didn't outwardly laugh, but there was a hint of a smile on her face as the goddess walked around and started picking something up. "Toy fruit?" Well, now she did laugh, but only for a second. "It's a sex toy. You know, you just..." She made buzzing sounds and made a motion with her fingers back and forth and then kept buzzing. "It's just one of those things you'd have to figure out. Sometimes it's more entertaining to do shit on your own."
Meera put a hand to her chest, "Would you? Oh that is so good of you, it looks like it would be much too expensive, I could never ask you to do that." She was a very famous window shopper, much better at talking someone's ear off than breaking out her card; she wouldn't ask Paloma to buy it for her but she would certainly accept the gift. "Paloma, I threw my bra on stage. What do you mean? Did I watch you perform?" The girls were in fact wild and free under her blouse right now but that was okay, she only wore one so she could throw it on a stage.
"You could never ask, but you will guilt me about it. You know I can't reject those doe eyes of yours." Meera had anything but doe eyes though. Paloma admired her dear Valkyrie sister's antics more often than not. Then again, she was sure the latter never happened anyway. Still, who else was going to throw their bra onto the stage during her performances if the lunar elf didn't? She tilted her head towards the stage. "I did indeed keep that bra backstage and you're never getting it back now. We're the same size, right?" She held her boobs in her hands for a moment and then looked at Meera's own. "Yeah, I think so. How'd you like the show though?"
Person: @bansheepaloma Location: Backstage, hangin after performing "This is probably the best crowd we're ever going to play." Harlow didn't really play for money or any kind of notoriety, she played because she liked to. It was fun and nothing made a show better than an engaged audience. "The whole line up is great, too." She was still adamant that the pretty wolf who'd played with the big wolf and the one with the spoons would be an asset. Actually maybe the one playing the spoons could be an asset, too. Putting a pin in that, she went from the idea of one pretty wolf to another and her eyes tear away from Weezer doing a second run through of "Beverly Hills" to look to her fellow blonde. "Do you have a date here?"
The best crowd they were ever going to play? For some reason, that felt highly embarrassing for her. There were so many men in this crowd. Why couldn't they play in some lesbian bar or something? Maybe then it would be the best crowd they were going to play. Paloma didn't comment on that though. She was still enjoying all of this for sure and she always did love performing with Huntress. "You know, my dear coworker was performing and one of his friends was playing spoons and the other was playing...actually, I don't think he really was doing anything. Men can get away with doing anything if they're pretty enough. It's wild." If anyone looked at her on the surface, she was sure they would think she absolutely despised men. It wasn't untrue though. She did like a few of them, but the key word there was 'few'. Not that it really mattered. Who was going to tell her she couldn't? She had seen Barbie. She knew what she was about. "A date? No. I do have someone I want to see though. She's been out there being one hell of a woman today, let me tell you."
Person: @bansheepaloma Location: Backstage Aurea had been privy to a decent amount of live music in the states with all of the biker bars she wound up in. It's loud, it's fun, she loves fun, but this is Paloma and her band and she didn't think she could really smile any bigger than she was when the blonde flounced offstage. She'd managed to make it to see their set between well, everything going on, all of the anxiety brewing in her gut. The excitement was stronger though, the butterflies that seemed to take up a permanent residence in her gut whenever she even thought about the banshee. "You were amazing!" Her face actually hurts from smiling so wide but her face doesn't fall as the musician approaches.
Paloma was planning a lot of things for this fabulous Lupercalia. She had signed up for one of those competitions. In theory, her chances of winning it all were very slim, but she would absolutely enjoy the process of embarrassing any man that came in her direction. If she was going to get taken out, she only hoped it was one of her Valkyrie sisters. Or maybe just a woman in general. That was for later though. Right now, she was worried about her stage presence. Then, after that, she was very interested in Aurea's performance in this Alpha gauntlet. The banshee was awfully excited about it actually. Which made it even better that the lycan in question had actually sought her out. "Oh, of course I was, but I do love a compliment." She placed a lollipop in her mouth and then held another out to Aurea. "I've seen you kicking a lot of ass. Talk about dream girl, huh?"

Paloma was sweating. It wasn't like it was hot out here, but there were a lot of lights on stage. Playing in a band definitely meant she was going to end up leaving any venue more sticky than when she had gotten there. It didn't bother her much at all. Nevertheless, as she hopped off of the stage during their breaks, she made a beeline to Caio and wrapped her arms around his midsection from behind. "Hey, sweet cheeks. Looking pretty sexy out here. You come here often?"
a starter for @bansheepaloma,
"That mix you put together at the last minute really saved us," the crowd at the Embassy always went crazy for Huntress but lycans always seemed to gravitate towards this particular brand of sorts. Violence and mud, Paloma had curated a really fire mix that spoke right to their wolfish aggro vibes; paired with Milena's drummer solo and Harlow's voice? Sensational.
Huntress was never going to miss on a performance. Women were great at everything naturally, but also the three of them were just really good. Plus, Paloma had so many instruments under her belt at this point that she was convinced she should've tried to learn another one. Maybe she would ask Milena to teach her how to actually play the drums. Just in case. "Of course it did. I feel like I need to come up with something new though. You don't think I'm getting stale, do you?"
@bansheepaloma location: Lupercal notes: going with they knew each other way back when idk fite me valkyrie pals
"Oh I just adore this." Meera praised as she looked at the material of Paloma's outfit, the elve was a very tactile and touchy person so she immediately had a bit of the banshee's garment in her hands as she ran her fingers over it. "The textures are just to die for, ugh, I need to get something like this for myself." Maybe she could convince Paloma to just give it to her, Meera had already done a quick estimate and figured the two of them were about the same size.
Paloma had one aesthetic. Leather. Nothing but leather really. Maybe vinyl boots sometimes, but it was always in black. Actually, now that she thought about it, maybe the aesthetic was just all black. If she started adding color into her wardrobe, she wondered how that would look. Would anyone even recognize her anymore? That was too much for her to think about, but at least Meera seemed to love what she was wearing now. "I can always buy you it. I remember exactly where I got it from," she said as she fished her phone out of an unseen place. "Did you see us perform? Be honest, how great was I?"
Every time I hear 'em talk I assume they crazy You could open up for me, "Who are you? First lady?" Shut it down, mid-show tell 'em, "Fuck you, pay me" That's a new Mercedes, I am graduatin'
