Reason why Ominis isn't alive when Voldy is born is bc he and Sebastian escaped the Gaunt family on Titanic to go to America to start a new life. ^^

(they use magic to rescue themselves and escape the ship but since they are not among the muggle survivors they are thought to be dead)
