How are we doing? I know this is a very late post—well, late-night post, I should say. I finally drew Ruth Senet for Phinik, and I really had fun with her! There were only two things that gave me trouble:
1. Her hairstyle — I did try my best, and I even used my MC Sarah Alegría for reference since both Sarah and Ruth share the exact same hairstyle (along with two of my other MCs, too).
2. Her scar — I’ve never drawn such an intricate scar before, so that was definitely a challenge.
But aside from that, she was really fun to draw. She turned out so cute, and I really hope they love it, because I worked so hard on this. This is actually my first time drawing Ruth—even though I’ve seen a lot of other people’s interpretations they are all fantastic and I admire everybody who drew Ruth in their own art style.
Honestly, I had such a good time drawing her. She’s so pretty, and I really admire the hell out of her. I did my best, so please be kind to me, especially about her hair and her scar. Thank you so much to Phinik for letting me draw her!

“You need to smile a little bit more. You have such a pretty smile. Please smile—I would really love to see your pretty smile.” —Lynn
