[[Take Two]] - Closed for Aomine & Akashi

{ đ } On any other day, Aomine would be hiding out in his room, ignoring the rest of his suitemates as he browsed the net and overall hanged out by himself. But desperate times called for desperate measures, and there was way too many distractions in his room, soâŠ
Yes. Aomine was studying. If he failed this one class, the committee that decided on who to grant scholarships to wouldnât be exactly too happy with his track record, and he doubted Akashi wanted to pull strings to keep him here. Not that he was opposed to leaving this place, but he didnât have anywhere else to go, soâŠ.Â
Ehem. Anyway. He squinted at his books, trying to concentrate on the reading. But Murasakibara and Akashi had decided that tonight was the perfect time to have a movie night, and so they were watching some cheesy shit on the television they shared. As a result, they just so happened to be close enough to be distracting for the power forward. And in more ways than one - the volume was up too high and his head was starting to pound from all the literal cheese that was melting out of those speakers, and, well⊠Murasakibara was lying on Akashiâs lap, and that made him highlyâŠ. uncomfortable, for some reason.
Not that he had any reason to be uncomfortable, justâŠ. he was bothered. Like, wasnât that sort of intimacy supposed to reserved for couples and the like? Wait, was he missing out on something here? Were they datingâ?!
Now that the thought had crossed his mind, there was no way it was leaving it, and the doubt that came with it was overwhelming. He disregarded his studies for a moment, and pulled his chair over to scrutinize the two for himself. The more he stared at them, the more that the answer he was looking for seemed to be in the affirmative.
Then again, what was the harm in asking? âSo, uh, are you guys dating or something? âCus like..â He gestured at their position.
The sound of the chair scraping across the floor did little to rouse the center from where he lay. He was a man who liked to think he could sleep through anything; with enough scenarios under his belt to prove it. But when Aomine spoke, even he felt bagged violet eyes open.
So, uh, are you guys dating or something
The words came as a surprise to the Center, though as he shifted himself in Akashiâs lap he wasnât so naive to see how someone might get that idea. He was however, surprised by the flicker in his chest that came with those words... He had never thought of his captain that way but now the  more  he thought about his captain being such a way with anyone else .... It made him mad.
Lifting his gaze further to turn  his attention from Aomine to Akashi, he simply let violet hold crimson gold.
âIf Aka-chin wanted....âÂ
âRoses.....? Where did these come from, I didnât get Aka-chin roses....â
[[Take Two]] - Closed for Aomine & Akashi
âAka-chin... Hâmuch longerâ The center couldn't help the whine that left his lips, violet eyes drooping as he tried to keep his attention on the screen. With the dark of the living room, and the perpetually tired giant up past his self decided âbed timeâ Atsushi was amazed he was even still awake at all.
Shifting his large body on the couch he let his legs dangle off the edge, curling as best he could so his head flopped into Seijurouâs lap as he wrapped the blanket he had pilfered from their room even tighter around his body. Even if he couldnât go to bed just yet, this seemed like the next best option.

The laboratory would never have prepared for her this. Californiaâs gracing west winds and at times, chilly cold fronts, wouldnât train her for the uproar of howling winds and snow penetrating in the once serene campus. Soft nags and insisting pleads of her mother to pack more sweaters and scarves echo in the back of her mind. âAiko, please.â The dirty blonde shakes her head and ruffles her face into the depths of her yellow-and-pink scarf with her frail fingers holding onto the fabric for dear life. The dense storm taking over campus only spells disaster and the tall woman manages to confront her woes and charge through the weather.
Thereâs always time for new things like experiencing the nearly deathly winter of Canada! Aiko manages in sufficing and relieving herself with confidence. When wasnât she oozing of the substance of pride?Â
That was until a shadow was blocking her original leak of light.Â
âIs this person towering over me?âÂ
The shadow is caught by the corner of her eye as the bundled woman flocks her gaze from the tip of her caramel boots. She keeps her face facing forward as his must be a necessary attempt in to refurbished on the hot cocoa supply. Since a certain someone replenished it in her dorm room, Aiko was made to traverse through the snow. However, her eyes spark with amusement and curiosity over the figure walking away with his voice monotonous over the âconcernâ in his statement. The shorter woman perks up her head and jogs beside the figure without another word and a hop accompanies every movement.Â
âAnd why are you out here?â She hums while hearing her teeth chatter. However, the dirty blonde rubs her nape and settles the white hood over head. At least, the woman could make some content with finding another person outside..
While Atsushi wasnât used to meeting people his own height, in fact it was a circumstance that heâd yet to ever encounter, he was used to meeting others of rather tall stature; considering his career in basketball it wasnât exactly a place that didnât have itâs share of towering giants but even among the tallest that cities had to offer he knew he was still an anomaly.
None the less he had to admit this was the first time he found himself looking down at a girl and finding his violet gaze only having to travel so far before they met hers. Despite  his warning the woman seemed intent to not only stay out in the cold biting air, but also to accompany him. Letting a shrug fill his shoulders in a movement that was far too lethargic for something so simple he let his gaze return to hers; not missing the movements she made, clear that she was too cold.
â... Out of candyâ He said simply, as though it was every reason to be walking around in a snow storm.Â
[[Lazy]] - Closed for Yang
@iburngold
He didnât understand. It was as simple as that. From where he was sitting on the campus green, violet eyes were watching a group of students playing a game of Frisbee among themselves. It baffled him, the very idea of going out of your way to exert yourself with nothing to gain. There was no winner, no loser, there was no prize or incentive. There was merely the basic act of wearing yourself out and making yourself sweaty for no practical reason.
Rolling his eyes, the Center just lay himself back on the grass, tugging open the wrapper to a candy bar with his teeth as he just let out a low sound, staring up at the clouds above that seemed to be as lazy as he was as they floated through the sky.
It wasnât until someone settled down beside him that he found motive to move, turning his head to stare up at the stranger that settled beside him.
âhmm?â He grunted, raising a brow, not quite finding the desire to use words.

â Heâd be lying to himself if he denied the blush rising on his cheeks, being caught in the act of an uncharacteristic lazy morning. Turning his head towards the door, his dual-toned gaze laid upon the green man now standing in their room. Not allowing himself to give in to the sudden embarrassment, Seijuurou offered a smile to hopefully soften the sharp words his cuddling companion had to offer.Â
âGood morning, Shintarou. Itâs true⊠I did give permission, for today.â His words were surprisingly cheerful for someone who disliked mornings quite a bit. Not wanting to part from the warmth, he resisted the urge borne from politeness to sit up, instead letting out a small sigh, rubbing his cheek against Atsushiâs chest.                âPlease forgive us for being so unproductive.â
Shintarou simply stared at the two with an expression that consists of both shock and confusion. âYou canât be serious.â He exclaimed, even more dumbfounded by what he had heard from the red-haired captain. The one who demanded that they be punctual to both their classes and practices, was skipping class? What has the world gone to Shintarou may never know.
âThat is utterly outrageous. To think that you would even allow this is just unthinkable.â Shintarou said curtly, bringing his hand up to adjust his spectacles before let out a sigh as he shook his head in disappointment.
âDonât ask me for forgiveness. It is none of my business if this somehow affects your grades, and by extension, your eligibility of graduating.â
âWhy are you still talking...â The violet haired male whined, his tone reaching octaves more suited to a toddler than a grown man. Flopping back further on the pillow he just grumbled, staring at the ceiling while they were given a âlectureâ on their potential inability to graduate, as though one day would make all the world of difference.
With the arm that wasnât draped around the smaller man at his side, he fumbled in the bed-sheets. Wrapping his hand around an uneaten bar of chocolate he threw it towards the door like a sweetened missile; every intention to hit the other man with all the maturity he could muster.
âAka-chin said we could, so we can. End of story....âÂ

Shintarou tapped his fingers on the table, constantly glancing over to the clock. He was getting impatient.
Atsushi was supposed to be waking up at seven oâclock and yet the purple-haired giant was nowhere to be seen, which wasnât surprising given the fact that the other was a lazy person to begin with, and honestly Shintarou did not want to have anything to do with him. Sadly, Seijuurou requested that he personally give Atsushi his own wake up call as if he was his butler.
At half past seven that was it. The bespectacled male could not wait any longer. Classes are about to start in half an hour and still no sight of the sweet-devouring male. Getting up from the table with a groan of frustration, Shintarou made his way to the bedroom that Atsushi and Seijuurou shared with a stomp accompanying his footsteps.
âMurasakibara Atsushi!â Shintarou yelled, slamming the door wide open with a bang. âItâs half past seven already! Why arenât yo-â
Shintarouâs words were cut short and he was left speechless for a few moments as his emerald orbs take in the sight of Seijuurou snuggling close to Atsushi on the purpleheadâs bed.
âWhat in the world are you two doing!?â
He didnât jump at the sound of the door opening, if he was being honest he should have expected the other to have burst in earlier. They were supposed to walk to class together but he really didnât care... Mido-chinâs word meant nothing against his captainâs and said captain was laying comfortably against his chest having given him express permission to spend the entire day in bed.
Letting out a petulant whine akin to something a child might give their parent when told to get up, the Center slowly turned his attention to the man at the door, not really caring that the other seemed appalled at their current position. It wasnât like it was the first time the redhead had taken to napping in his bed or even in his hold; the other found it comforting and who was he to deny Akashi anything he asked for.Â
âIâm not goingâ He said simply, stifling a yawn as he shifted his arm underneath the other to get more comfortable. âAka-chin said we could spend the day in bed, so go away. Youâre annoying meâÂ

â âRegrettably, I have half a mind to indulge you in that suggestionâŠâ Seijuurou said quietly, comfortable in the otherâs hold. It was almost funny how most saw Atsushi as some sort of giant to be feared, whereas Seijuurou couldnât think of a safer place to be than in the presence of the purple-haired man. Perhaps that was his reward for taming the giant, earning the respect most had trouble ever garnering from Atsushi.Â
      ââŠ.It is, really, quite temptingâŠâ
Shifting to lift his head from Akashiâs locks, the Center looked down at his captain with the closest thing to a pout the boy was capable of. Violet hues bagged with fatigue just held to mismatched gold and crimson as he huffed.
âPlease Aka-chin....â He all but whined childishly, his grip around the smaller man tightening like a child might cling to a security blanket; which in a sense, Akashi was to him.
âJust this once?â

â A happy sigh escaped him after that, Seijuurou burying himself in the warmth that Atsushi brought. Moving as closely as he could, the redhead allowed his eyelids to flutter closed again in comfort, letting Atsushi adjust however he wanted. Nodding slightly, Seijuurou sighed again. He clung on tightly to the giant, not caring for his usual composure around others. Rooming with Atsushi had led for those walls to come down quickly, especially since he knew the purple haired man wouldnât judge him or make fun of him for his needs. It sounded ridiculous, but when it was just the two of them, Seijuurou felt safe.    âMuch better. Thank you, AtsushiâŠâ He mumbled sleepily, âIâm feeling especially lazy today.âÂ
Cracking an eye open at  his words, the Center just let his violet gaze linger on the man curled up in his arms. It was no secret that Atsushi was fond of his captain, never hesitating to follow any favour or command made of him over the years... But since rooming with the redhead he had found a whole other side to the man and found himself all the more at his mercy.
Chuckling he spared a glance to the clock at the side of the bed knowing they had only minutes before they should be up, but he had no intentions of moving any time soon. Turning his head to let his cheek rest easily ontop of the otherâs head he let his hand come to rest lazily in the small of the smaller manâs back. âWe could always just stay here Aka-chin, skip class and be lazyâ

â It was absolutely way too cold for humans to function. Cue a sneeze from the flushed redhead, stifled only by his honed reaction time with the box of kleenex beside his bed. Even he, in the midst of the changing seasons, was contemplating if going to class and starting his day was even worth it. Seijuurou had never gotten along with the cold very well, and it had been a lapse in judgement upon choosing a school in Canada for his degree. Really though â someone should have pointed out how cold it would be. Turning on his side from where he was buried in the piles of blankets on his bed, Seijuurou viewed the sleeping form of Atsushi in the bed nearby. It was with practiced grace that he braced the cold, dragging a blanket or two with him, sliding effortlessly under the covers with the large male.Â
              âAtsushi⊠itâs too cold.â
It was too early. Despite the sun having already begun to peek into the window of the room he shared with his captain, the Center wasnât ready to get up. A man perpetually tired from the toll his sheer size took on his body, mornings were not his forte.
Feeling the bed shift he groaned, his first thoughts wondering if Akashi had decided to wake him before his alarm, something he wasnât going to be fond of. Though when he heard the voice in his ear he realized it wasn't time to get up... In fact the familiar tell tale sound of a stuffed sinus had him realizing there was a chance he might get to just stay right where he was.
Rolling over to oblige the man who had invaded his bed he flopped an arm over, tugging the redhead against his chest as he simply buried his face into his hair, mumbling sleepily. A human furnace Atsushi was happy to oblige the morning cuddle. â... Better?â He mumbled, shifting to get more comfortable with his new armload.

Snow storms. For most, that meant staying inside and out of the cold and the biting wind. For the center, it normally would mean the same⊠Preferring to stay wrapped in a warm blanket than out wasting the exertion it took to get through the storm to go anywhere.
But this was different. The situation he had found himself in had justified it as far as he was concerned. When his hand  had hit nothing but empty plastic instead of his seemingly bottomless candy stash, violet eyes had narrowed in realization. He was out.
Despite the insistence from anyone he passed while on his way out of the dorms that he was crazy, Â he was a man on a mission. It was the first real storm of the year and most had yet to acclimatize to Canadaâs harsh weather, especially coming in from overseas. With a thick scarf around his face, the towering student made his way out into the biting cold, determined to replenish in case this snow decided to only get worse.
Trudging through the thick wind; grateful the snow hadnât started to really stay on the ground just yet, he almost missed the outline of another form making their way through the storm. Blinking, he narrowed his eyes, trying to make out who else was stupid enough to go out into this wind besides himself.
âYou shoulndât be out here in thisâ He mumbled as he finally passed the other, barely able to make out their face through the swirling wind and snow.

âOf course, I did promise you didnât I? Even if we donât find anything, you can still get ice cream. But donât go pretending that it doesnât fit just so you can get your ice cream.â She walked over to the directory, wondering where to hit first. She looked over at the giant âI know you really donât want to go shopping, but its better than forcing yourself to fit it, right?â She looked back at the directory, looking for a certain type of clothing store.
She started walking as she found the first store to hit âCome on, first important thing to get to is the shoes.â
âShoes?â He repeated, shoving his hands into the pockets of his overalls as he trailed after her, his long strides keeping up with the woman despite how much he was all but dragging his feet in protest.
His shoes had always been custom ordered, they just didnât make shoes his size in stores. He knew that he would likely have a decently âeasyâ time finding clothes in the new North American stores but shoes? It didnât seem likely. âI donât think weâll find shoes, even here...â
