Today marks a year I had to say the hardest goodbye, my love. I still miss you every day. But this will be us one day, Casper. I don't care about fancy cars, expensive villas, $2500 purses or 5 stars hotels. The only reason why I ever wanna be successful is to get him here, get him some brothers and sisters from a shelter, open one on my own, help other people & my family and give my dogs the best life they've been missing out on. And one day... I will make it. I won't stop until I do. I love you, munchkin. Next year, it will all be different, I promise.

I feel like the biggest asshole for taking this picture but I wanna bring you an insight of the world you might not know. Being a commuter for the past 10 months, using multiple trains per day and living in a shitty neighborhood, I got to see a lot. Numerous homeless people, people getting stabbed, robbed, beaten up, chased by cops or even die right in front of my eyes. But this is probably the saddest thing I've ever seen. This is a homeless boy. And on that picture there are all the belongings him and his mother had. He had the saddest eyes on this planet. But he still smiled at anyone that caught his gaze. I think a part of me died on that train. It's one of the rare moments I cried in public. There is so much wrong with this world and so much needs to be done. Yet we pretend like we own this planet, like we own each other. Finding happiness in materialistic stuff. Buy buy buy and you shall be completed. It has become popular to not give a fuck about other living beings. We take stuff for granted. Appreciation for one another is rare. And everyone seems to wake up when it's too fucking late. We are a society of selfish, greedy, lazy, evil creatures. But most of all.. We refuse to talk about the real issues and help those in need. Because if it's not you, who cares, right? This is an extremely negative post but it's the sad reality. And I will keep fighting to change at least something until the day I die and even if that means I'll never have a "normal life". Because fuck that. (at Downtown Los Angeles)
