Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I be an escort without having sex with clients? A: No.
Q: But my friendâs cousin says she gets paid $500/hour just to go out to dinner and social events with men. A: Sheâs lying.
Q: Can I be a stripper without getting naked/nearly naked? A: No.
Q: Can I be a stripper without talking to or touching men? A: No.
Q: Can I be a stripper but not do lap dances and just go on stage to show off my awesome pole skills that I learned in class? A: I guess, if you want to make zero money. The tips you make on stage might not even cover your stage fee and tips outs. At some clubs you might only go on stage once or twice in an eight hour shift. At some clubs your stage fees might be like $200/shift. Thatâs money you pay to the club, not that the club pays you (the club pays you nothing).Â
Q: How can I find a platonic sugar daddy? I want an allowance of at least $8000/month. A: Hahahahaha.Â
Q: Iâm a queer woman. Can I be a sex worker who only has queer/female/anyone but cishet men for clientele? A: No.Â
Q: You have the best job in the world! Iâm a straight man and I want to get paid to have sex. A: Youâre gonna have to have sex with dudes.Â
Q: Iâm AFAB but non-binary. How do I find clients that will respect my they pronouns? I canât tolerate being misgendered. A: Okay, good luck with that. Most clients are ignorant old men and not exactly progressive.
Q: Can I be a sex worker even though Iâm triggered by anything even remotely sexual? A: No.
Q: I want to be a sex worker but I donât want to do any of the gross stuff you do like having sex with men, touching men, speaking to men, being seen naked by men, etc. I heard of something called financial domination where men just give you money and you donât even have to do anything! How do I get into that? A: Fuck off. Â
I still laugh at all the naive, young girls thinking their youth is so spectacular that men will literally throw down thousands to âlook at themâ. If youâre that beautiful, youâd be discovered as a supermodel and not even thinking about joining this industry. đđđ
this was cute till it got homophobic, blatantly inaccurate, and rude. you say this shit but donât offer solutions to the problems:
gay and lesbian sugaring is a thing people make bank on all the fucking time. dont tell lesbians they dont have a chance unless they want to fuck men; its a lie and fucking disgusting. just because you donât know the right places to look doesnât mean you can tell lesbians they have no chance in sex work.
pro tip to lesbians: you have to have been with someone of the same gender before! 99% of rich dykes donât like to pay money to feel like theyre an experiment!
if you donât want to have sex with anyone or canât dance for shit; camming is a great way to get started!
anyways straight and white sex workers are terrible and misinformed and i hope nobody takes what they say without a grain of salt!
I wasnât gonna bother but now that Iâm getting anons about this too I might as well copy and paste my response here.
First of all, Iâve been doing sex work for over 15 years and having gay sex for more like 20. For my first several years in the industry I identified as 100% super gay, but since this is my job and I actually need to make money, 99.99% of my clientele were men. I remember having exactly one female semi-regular for a while when I was a stripper and she was a really shitty customer anyway so I probably made less than $100 total off her and then I ran into her one night at a queer dance party and she followed me around all night like a creep even though I was clearly there with my girlfriend and it was awful. I never said that lesbians canât be successful in this industry. I know literally hundreds of lesbians in the sex industry, but guess what: they all have male clients. No you donât have to fuck men to be a sex worker, you can be a cam worker or a stripper or do solo or girl/girl porn, but youâre not gonna have any control over whoâs watching you perform so men are definitely gonna be looking at you, and if you only do lap dances or cam shows for women youâll probably make next to nothing. Over my decade and a half in the industry, between co-workers and friends and people I know through online sex work community Iâve probably talked to, like, a thousand sex workers and Iâve only ever encountered ONE queer female full service sex worker who has numerous regular female clients, but I know for a fact that she has a bunch of male clients too. Iâm attracted to people of all genders now but I donât have the luxury of choosing my clients based on how much I want to fuck them. Gross old grandpas are not my sexual preference, but theyâre the ones with the money I need. Yeah many sex workers will probably get an occasional female client, but anyone trying to get into this industry with the idea that theyâre gonna make a living off exclusively having sex with sexy queer ladies is dreaming.
Yeah, Iâd really like to know where all these lesbian sugar mamas are hanging out! lol
Iâve done sugaring, stripping, and escorting in the past five years as a sexworker and I have had exactly one female client that was not part of a couple. I donât think itâs homophobic or inaccurate to say that the majority of sexworker clients are men, especially old white men because they have all the money.
