I will, you know me though, stubborn to change. It used to be me and my mother for so long, adding a guy to the mix she’s seeing is rough. She loves my father, everything Thanksgiving we go to his grave. Malcolm even understands that he’s not going to be my mom’s love of her life. I totally agree with the whole finding someone you click with thing.

Well, we have Thanksgiving dinner with the family planned… Are you guys back together or something? ‘Cause I don’t see why you’re asking me for permission when Maya is a big girl and can go and have Thanksgiving dinner whomever she wants without my permission.

No we’re not back together, it’s just that I invited her to me and my mother’s Thanksgiving, and she mentioned if you didn’t have anything planned that she’d take me up on my offer. Thought being the nice gal that I am, would ask you myself.
