“Oh umm–of course you can.” Landon moved over to help her grab the item. Even though he didn’t work here, he couldn’t just not help her. Despite everything, he still cared and loved her. “Here you go.” He handed her the item.

Michelle looked over to greet the person until she heard his voice. She instead glanced quickly and looked at the item she needed, “Thanks.” She quietly said. She had no idea as to why all of a sudden she is nervous. Michelle knows she shouldn’t be, but she is and there’s nothing that can’t be stopped about that.

There was a small chuckle that left Garrett’s lips after she told him that she had been listening to her playlist. “Just letting you know that you are up next. That is all.”

She grabbed her things and got up, “ Thank you for letting me know. I honestly had no idea it was my turn already. I was just too caught up...”

Michelle had just gotten done at work when she headed into Coffee Bean. She was listening to her music when she felt someone tap her shoulders, “ Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t hear what you said. I had my music playlist on.” She chuckled. @secretsummerstarters

Josie bit her lip as she thought about that. “Oh, God, I hope not…” She sighed, shaking her head. She knew it was probably right though - every time they thought things were settling down in town, it seemed to never last. Something always exploded. “Alright… the twins are doing great though, they’re perfect. Getting too big too quick though.” She chuckled.

“Well I’m glad to hear that. I’m also glad that despite everything going on, everyone is doing fine. I can’t imagine what your family is going through right now.”

Josie smiled again, nodding as she had a sip of her coffee. “Right? It’s been so stressful lately with everything that happened with Emma and stuff, it was really nice to be able to just… enjoy everything. You know?”

She nodded, “I couldn’t agree with you more, I’m just wondering now if maybe whoever this -A is planning something big. Maybe that is why they haven’t done anything.” Michelle told her with a shrug, “ How is Emma doing? And the twins?”

Josie nodded in agreement, smiling. “Definitely.” She really did love spending time with her friends, she felt like she hadn’t done it enough recently. “Yeah, I did, and my boyfriend. It was so nice being able to have a holiday where nothing went wrong.” She laughed, though with the few years she’d had with her seemingly unlucky daughter, she was just glad everything was fine.

She gave her friend a bright smile, “ That’s great. I’m glad that you had a wonderful holiday. It’s nice to be able to celebrate something instead of hearing bad news.”

“Yes I agree, just things got busy. At least we’ll be able to make up for time though.” She told her before nodding, “ Of course, spent it with my family. Did you?”
