Mia: "Easy, Harley Quinn. It's just me, you can put the bat down." Mia said, stepping outside, wrapping her arms around herself as she felt the cool weather hit her skin. "Nope, I take it that you can't either?" she asked, taking the empty seat across from him.

Cyrus: nodded as he placed the bat back against the chair and grabbed his hoodie off of the back of the chair. "here, don't want you getting sick on top of everything else." He replied softly. He shook his head once he sat back down and grabbed his grandmother's tea. "Nah, I grabbed some of my grandmother's sleep time tea and still wide awake." He placed the cup back onto the arm of the chair and let out a breath. "Figured I would try and see if being outside would help but." He shrugged a bit before he looked at her. "Brain won't shut off?"

Cyrus: sipped his tea as he enjoyed the peaceful night, something about being away from the town made him calm. Maybe its because he had yet gone camping or the fact that he wasn't dramatic like he was towards the end of last week. He pushed the idea away from the front of his mind and placed the cup onto the arm of the chair he was currently sitting in. He closed his eyes for a bit until he heard some footsteps off to the right side of him, which made his eyes reopen and grabbed his Louisville slugger he had gotten his sophomore year. "Hello?" He called out as he slowly stood and gripped his bat tighter. He swallowed hard and saw who it was. A wave of relief washed over him, before he made sure his cup didn't break. "Thank god it was you." He sat back down into his chair and kept a good grip on the bat. "Can't sleep?"

mia: yeah, i haven't left since yesterday. i'm staying with them until the funeral services are over. my aunt can barely do anything around the house, so i'm making sure the house gets cleaned up since relatives are coming into town tomorrow before the funeral.

mia: thank you, i'll spread the word to them. maybe when i'll go over and pay a visit soon. i haven't eaten since yesterday so maybe i should really eat something now.

cy: I brought some of my grandma's food, she wouldnt let me leave town without it. I put it in the fridge with your name on it and everything, that way no one would eat it. So if they do eat it, then at least I tried.
