my girlfriend’s done an amazing job of working me through my problems and though i do feel a little more confident with elsie, i’m still struggling just a little bit. i decided – even though i’ve not been on this blog specifically for very long – i’m going to move blogs. i need to cut down on clutter, reorganize things, etc. 

i will be dropping all threads here. i’m so sorry, but i feel like i really need to do that. if there is a thread you really want to keep, we can talk about it – otherwise, i am so thrilled to start something new with you.

        Heavy boots clank up titanium rungs, the ladder trembling with the heft & speed of its climber. Grim, Tamás opens the navi & plugs in coordinates. After a while, he regards Elsie, the blue wash of his hologram not helping ease the tension in his frown. ❝ Mija, I need you to man the turret. Not that I’m expecting us to use it…but we’re goin’ in some rough territory & I don’t want to be caught off-guard. ❞

this  isn’t  the  jovial  mood  that  has  so  often  pervaded  la  joya’s  interior.  elsie  straightens  up  quickly  when  his  gaze  falls  on  her  shoulders.  this  is  serious.  she  won’t  let  him  down  ,  even  if  she  doesn’t  know  all  the  details.  she  doesn’t  need  to.  she  trusts  him  &  listens  without  protest.   ❝  where  exactly  are  we  going?  ❞   that  much  at  least  she’d  like  to  know.

brand  new  starter  call  !!  like  this  &  i’ll  pop  my  spo.tify  on  shuffle  to  write  a  starter  based  on  a  song.  it  might  start  out  a  little  shorter  but  there’s  always  the  potential  to  write  more  &  more.

you already know that i think you’re a really talented writer that keeps churning out very interesting characters. you also already know that i think you’re a person that doesn’t get the credit she deserves for the things you accomplish and the potential that you have. you’re pretty strong. it’s been a wild three years but watching you become the person you are now has been a privilege.
