also whilst i am talking about disability, there is an implication in some advocacy posts that i’ve seen that people don’t go around disabiling themselves. that is not true. sometimes, you are the reason you are disabled. (and i think it’s part of the reason why people get so weird about being addicted: you are seen as responsible for your own disability, but i digress) so i want you all to know: if you ever played a hand into either gaining a disability or worsening yours, you are still loved and cherished, and you deserve all the support and care as is the case with literally any other situation. support that comes with conditions is not true support.
