anyone else feel like a caged feral when someone starts yelling?
as mouse therian who breeds mice, it warms my heart so much when they bring me their pups as if iām supposed to babysit for a moment š«
being accepted by an animal that you kin as their family is literally the therian equivalent of being accepted as trans by your conservative parents
Wanted practice drawing were-me :3
I'm a Coastal Wolf Therian personally, but I feel VERY connected to werewolves (bc I am one.. duh... ;3)
EDIT: WHERE DID YALL COME FROM??? HI?? UHM ARF ARF?? DO YOU GUYS WANT MORE OF THIS???
im an animal, nobody is going to hold me back from transitioning.
i will get body modifications for a snout, i will get a tail surgery, i will be myself.
I know it will be hell, i know i may never fully transition, i know i dont have the money for it, i know. but i will, even if i do it myself.
i will do it dangerously, or safely. Depends on what happens in my life in the future.
i am physically an animal, just because i think like a human and act like a human doesnt mean im a human.
love when werewolf transformation is shown as painful. hell yeah baby i want to become my true self and i want it to hurt
therianthropy is so goofy cuz it's like "what do you mean sometimes i'll feel like a silly little creature and then sometimes i feel like the skin i live in is wrong, that i need to rip it off and run into the woods and become the soil and the trees"
Disappointed but not surprised by the reactionary disgust at alterhumans discussing our sexuality. Alterhumanity doesn't end where the bedroom starts.
Nor are packers inherently sexual. It's just gear. Self expression is not abuse.
*sitting on the bus*
nobody here knows that there is a black bear on the bus. there is a black bear. on the bus. it is listening to music and nobody knows that it is there.
TW: Cannibalism.
Sometimes, if angered enough, I really do think about eating those who piss me off.
āBut thatās cannibalism!ā No. Itās not.
Why? Because cannibalism is eating one of your own.
I am not human, I am not a person. If I rip your throat out and swallow, I am not cannibal because we are not the same.
I am a predator and I will act as such if provoked.
You cannot dissuade me with silly human taboos. I donāt apply to them.
this therian post from 1997⦠i hope ur doing well now AJ i feel ur pain

Being a therian is so unserious why is a cougar studying psychology
[Tw: Zoophilia mention]
Genuine question: WHY do so many people in this community jump on everything they find weird and immediate label it as zoophilia?!
Like- animal packers, fantasy toys, yiff art, pet play, kink gear, LITERALLY ANYTHING.
Seriously, relieving dysphoria, having "dirty" urges related to your identity, even straight up liking some freaky shit does NOT mean someone is attracted to animals. And it definitely does not mean they are actively harming/thinking of harming real animals.
People really take whatever is too weird for them and try to accuse it of war crime. Be better y'all.
Society would rock so much if you could be open about being alterhuman and it was just a normal thing to be. I like to fantasize about a kinder world like that.
Like we could go see mermaids perform in those tail covers (mermaid performances are a thing but imagine if it was way more common and normalized and full of actual mermaids!)
The gym could have group quadrobics sessions for different species (canine, feline, rodent .ect)
Angels could meet up at custom built ācathedralā like buildings full of pearl strands and stained glass and discuss their lives amongst humans over tea and cake.
Toy/doll/stuffed animal people could sew people sized clothes that look like doll clothes and play dress up together.
Zombies and ghosts could clean and maintain graveyards and honor the dead.
Bird folk could mix albums of their calls and wear wigs of faux feathers.
Grocery stores would sell kibble shaped snacks.
Furniture stores would sell nests and pet-style beds in person sizes.
People could publish memoirs of past lives or kin memories.
All plural people would be treated with respect and accepted as normal people too of course.
You could ask anyone if they identify as another species and they would understand it and maybe they would say they arenāt human either.
The fight against other forms of oppression will lead the way to a world safe enough to begin advocating for alterhumans. Society needs to first accept those who are queer, disabled, culturally different, neurologically different, and visually different.
