My parents have their own barrel organ workshop where they build, sell, and play barrel organs! Everything I know was taught to me by them! Did you know that the barrel organ started out much smaller than the one standing right here? They used be small enough that you could pick them up and carry them! The barrel organ was invented and distributed by the Italian Ludovico Gavioli, who started his own company in roughly 1850! It then got wrapped up in 1912 and-”

Today was just an ordinary day for Gavioli. He went onto the streets with his barrel organ to make some money with the tunes it played. However his day was made a bit more special when the rat started plucking along with the music. He was practically beaming with excitement when he commented on his barrel organ. “This is a barrel organ! It’s my pride and joy, I built it myself! I come from a family of barrel organ lovers, my parents own a barrel organ workshop where they build and sell barrel organs themselves! They also go onto the streets with them to make music, I learned everything I know from them! If you have any requests for a specific tune I can go see if I have the music sheet for it!”
