Atticus was tired. He was actually beyond tired. He was more tired than he had ever been in his entire life. Being pregnant was taking a toll on his body. Thankfully, the morning sickness had stopped but he was still stuck with swollen feet and back pain. Working full time also wasnât helping. He left every day in so much pain that he wanted to take a bath in ice. Being this tired made him question why he was at the park at that very moment.
He was seated at one of the benches, looking towards the playground. He wasnât being weird or creepy. Instead, he was watching how the mothers there interacted with their children. He tried the imagine himself in that situation with his own baby. It was easier to imagine now that the baby was growing. He smiled at the sight before noticing someone walk over to the bench. He looked up and smiled again. âDid you want to sit?â he asked, being uncharacteristically nice.
Barry was out for a run at the park. He had been slacking off on his routine lately and had noticed that it was starting to take effect. he could barely run up two fight of stairs without running out of breath. Maybe allotting a little time everyday for a short run could help,Â
He had been going for half an hour now and thought it was about time he took a short break. Looking around, he noticed a free seat on one of the benches and hesitantly walked towards it. He noticed the other person already sitting there but sighed in relief when the seat was offered to him before he could even ask. âSure, if you donât mind?â
