Eddie’s face was thoroughly flushed by the time Barry was through confessing all of that to him. “…Why did you even tell me all of that?” He mumbled, his hands coming up to cover his face.
On the flip side, however, Barry seemed to be rather happy.
"It feels so good to finally get all of that off my chest! I've been hiding my obsessions for quite a while now and it was just kind of building up, you know?"
A satisfied sigh brushing past his lips, the blonde leaned up against Eddie's shoulder.
"I never get to act on those fantasies because I'm kind of a pushover in bed, you know? Does that even make any sense? I just find it difficult to say what I really want out of fear of judgement..."
"So.... Look whose here. Though, what do you think you're doing wandering on this side of town?" -Jack- (hope this is alright >w<)
//It’s wonderful!//
"Oh! Um, I never thought I’d see you again…"
Barry let out some nervous laughter, scratching at the back of his head.
"In case if you’re wondering why I’m here, I heard that if I passed through, it wouldn’t take as long as it does for me to reach the grocery store from where I live…"
God, that sounded dumb….
Knowing that there was no way in the depths of hell that this man would ever accept his half-hearted apology, the boy simply trailed along after Jack like a ghostly little shadow, devoid of his own free will in his mind.
He sure as hell didn’t want to pick up the glass like that, but he certainly did not have any tools to help him clean it up proper, either. He quite honestly believed he didn’t have a choice.
"I understand, Jack…"
A near silent reply followed by a deep sigh. How far was this man willing to push him? He really was far more pathetic than he could have ever imagined. All he knew is that he wouldn’t dare mess around with him for a long, long time.
{♪}
» Jack lead the boy to the bathroom, taking both his wrists harshly and flinging the glass in the nearby trash bin before pulling him over to the sink, running warm water over the cuts. But then his grasp turned gentle. Slowly running his fingers so gently over the cuts, that he was sure that the blonde couldn’t feel it as he made sure there was no glass stuck in the boy’s hand.
» Turning the water off, he went into the cabinet, taking out a first aid kit. Popping it open, Jack went through it taking out a few bandages and began to dress the wounds. After a few moments of soft grumbling and making sure that he wasn’t cutting off circulation Jack let Barry free.
“You pathetic runt…. That should be good for now. I’m taking you to the guest room. I’ll clean up the glass, but once you’re healed you’re taking care of that bookshelf. Got it?”
It stung even worse than hell.
The boy had his teeth grit throughout the entirety of the process, trying to put up with the pain the best he could without crying out. Even if Jack already knew how weak he was, he would refuse to let it show.
Instead, he let out a low hiss and muttered obscenities underneath his breath. A bit more tasteful than whimpering like a small child.
With his wounds now completely dressed, the blonde let a sigh escape past his lips. Why did he have to be such a fool? Jack would never let him live this down, would he?
No, that was the least of his problems. He would have to deal with that damned bookcase eventually, and if he couldn't get it back standing before he certainly could not do it later.
Perhaps this man truly despises him?
"Have mercy!" (Tortured sentence starter)
Beyond grinned wickedly at the other man and shook his head, raising the whip again. “No, bad boy’s deserve to be punished”
Oh, how he wished he could take back everything he said, everything he thought about this man.
However, since such a thing simply was not possible, the boy was left to wallow in his own guilt.
At a complete loss for words, Barry decided to lean on Beyond. He knew he couldn’t express much through such a simple action, but he at least wanted to try anyways. He wanted to try before he gave up.
Beyond sighed and wrapped his arms around the other gently, just as the food arrived.
Beyond sat up as the waiter placed their food in front of them.
Within all honesty, Barry was glad that his pasta had finally arrived. It gave him time to focus on other things, like his growing hunger.
Hasty, the boy reached around blindly for a fork, but was unable to find anything of the sort.
"You’re a-"
The boy paused mid-sentence, narrowing his eyes at the self-proclaimed Doctor.
"How do I know you aren’t lying? How do I know that this isn’t some kind of elaborate joke? If you really are an alien or a time traveller or whatever, prove it! I want to see it before I believe it."
"Alright. Setting coordinates to Mars." The Doctor began pushing buttons and pulling levers.
"Wait, Mars? Is that even safe?"
Barry wasn't quite the most intelligent young man around, but he knew enough to know that traveling into space without the proper equipment could prove to be fatal.
"Mmmph!"
"Shhh dear heart it’ll be over soon~" El smiled, patting the young man on the head. He had long lost his mind to the chaos of the asylum, thinking he had to slaughter others in order to ‘free’ them. And poor Barry had wandered into his grasp. El didn’t have the heart to kill him like he did the others, oh no no no. This boy didn’t deserve such a death. He deserved to go out peacefully, in his sleep preferably. But El had no means of an anesthetic, so he had tied the boy up, keeping him in place till he found one. "Don’t worry sweet boy, ya’ll be free soon~ Gonna be free from all this sufferin’." He gave the other a kiss on the forehead, a gentle gesture of twisted affectionate reassurance.
A whimper escaped Barry’s lips as soon as he noted just how badly the rope burned his skin. He had tried his best to ignore it, but now it felt absolutely unbearable.
Perhaps he could use it to his advantage?
That sickly sweet fake grin crossed his face once more as soon as El was back in his line of sight with some food.
Perfect, absolutely perfect.
"I wanna eat the green beans! Do you mind taking off the ropes, though? I can’t really feed myself like this…"
El blinked, biting his lip as he mauled this over…those ropes were starting to make marks on the poor boy’s skin…
"Alright. I’ll untie yer hands fer now alright? Since ya’ve been such a good boy ya deserve a reward. No funny business alright dear heart?" He stroked Barry’s cheek before turning the boy around to undo the ropes.
It wasn't quite what he wanted, but it was a start at the very least.
All he would have to do was continue to be a good boy and gradually earn back his freedoms, then turn them against the man and flee this place once and for all.
"Thank you so much! My wrists were getting really store..."
Barry tried to sound as pleasant as he possibly could, grinning and giggling not unlike a small child.
Yet on the inside, he felt as if he was being degraded.
Caspian had left the room and locked the doors. Alastair smiled as the young man came back in.
"Go lay on the bed," Alastair picked up his book. "Our master will send for us for dinner."
Barry nodded quickly, trudging along towards the bed ever so slowly before simply allowing himself to fall face-first into mattress with a soft sigh.
"Did he just lock the doors? I’m getting kind of scared now…"
The blonde had never quite liked the sensation of being trapped, and that dreaded feeling was now threatening to overwhelm him.
"At least I get food…?"
He whimpered, curling up into a little ball.
"I’m not ready for this at all…"
Talien began to sing trying to cheer Barry up. His song was soothing and calm.
Sure enough, Talien’s song seemed to work.
Perhaps it had worked a bit too well, for Barry found himself drifting off to the mellow tune, closing his heavy eyelids.
Caspian sent orders to have the pets fed for dinner. He was going out. Joshua lightly shook Barry.
"Master Barry," Joshua stood up and bowed. "Dinner is being served and the master insists you eat."
A groan escaped the boy's lips, his eyes slowly fluttering open, filtering in the light.
Momentarily, he had forgotten where he was and was almost startled by his surroundings. It was only then when his memories came flooding back into his head.
Barry gradually pushed himself up and off the side of the bed, somewhat reluctant to follow his master's orders. However, he didn't quite have it in him to outright disobey him. Instead, he simply carried along at an agonizingly slow pace.

How odd it was that such things that the boy could only imagine were in fact very much real. He knew it was because he had only just pinched himself a moment ago to test wether he was dreaming or not.
Since he is not dreaming, that would mean…
"I can’t believe I’m in a space...
"You're a-"
The boy paused mid-sentence, narrowing his eyes at the self-proclaimed Doctor.
"How do I know you aren't lying? How do I know that this isn't some kind of elaborate joke? If you really are an alien or a time traveller or whatever, prove it! I want to see it before I believe it."

Beyond grinned wickedly at the other man and shook his head, raising the whip again. “No, bad boy’s deserve to be punished”
"Of course it was bad! Do you not realize how horrible what that person did to you was?! People are arrested for things like that for a reason!"
Barry pursed his lips, averting his gaze for a few brief seconds to stare at nothing.
"Listen, Beyond. What that person did was horrible and wrong, you should not have had to go through that… But now I understand why you did what you did. You really don’t know any better, do you…?"
“I know that” Beyond snapped, looking away. “I know what that sick bastard did to me, fucked me up, I don’t need you to tell me that”
The boy fell absolutely silent, at a complete loss for words.
There was nothing that he could do to help this man, he could never forge a healthy relationship with him even if he tried.
So, he simply sat there and reflected upon what he had done, this time in a more sympathetic light.
"… I’m only trying to help…"
“I know, I know that you are” Beyond mumbled, more calmly this time. “Can we please no talk anymore ?”
"But Beyond, he have to talk this out. I don’t want to get hurt by you again and I know that deep, deep down you regret what you did to me. You don’t want to hurt me again, either…"
The blonde starred ahead almost blankly, wondering if his words were even making an impact with this man.
“I don’t, I don’t want to keep hurting you. I love you, but I can’t talk about that man, It hurts….” Beyond mumbled shaking slightly, now it was his turn to hide the tears.
"Beyond..."
Barry felt a genuine sense of remorse as he heard those near silent sobs, his heart sinking in his chest. He wished there was something he could do about it, but he can't change the past. That's simply impossible.
Frustrated with himself, the blonde hung his head and fell absolutely silent, reflecting on what he might have just done to this poor person.
Having to keep up with his little act, the boy pretended to more than willingly wriggle into the other’s grasp, managing to fake a grin when he intentionally allowed the man’s fingers to graze over his soft cheeks.
How repulsive…
Barry forced himself to not gag for his own sake, instead trying to replace all malice and ill will he felt towards this man with love temporarily.
Of course, things would change.
"Food?"
The blonde had to admit, he was rather hungry. It had to have been at least a day since he’d been here, and he hadn’t eaten anything since.
"Will you please feed me?"
El’s smiled grew wider as the boy wriggled towards him. What a good darling. He pulled him into an embrace and nodded, “Yes dear food, and of course I will, just give me a moment ta get it~” He scooped Barry into his arms and laid him on the bed again before he went to the little cabinet in the room where he had been storing cans of food he had found, opening a few cans with a can opener he had also found.
He took the cans over to the bed, spoon in hand as he sat down. “What would ya like ta eat first hun?”
A whimper escaped Barry's lips as soon as he noted just how badly the rope burned his skin.
I can't really feed myself like this..."

Damn it all forever and never more.
The boy clenched his teeth, his initial plans now completely ruined. He really shouldn’t have underestimated this man, no matter how crazy he may be. Luckily enough, he managed to come up with an excuse that would work for the moment.
"I heard loud footsteps and I thought something was gonna come and grab me up…"
A bald-faced lie, but what else could he do to evade his own possible death? That is, if that was what the lunatic intended to do with him.
Yes, that had to be it. The bloodstains served more than enough proof for Barry to believe that this man was a murderer.
"Are you done yet? Can I go home now?"
"Oh ya poor dear…It’s alright now ain’t no one gonna get cha. Ya can come out now." El smiled, reaching out to help pull the boy out from under the bed. "Oh I’m afraid not dear heart. There are so many poor souls here…it’s gonna take a while. But I’ll take good care of ya till we leave alright? Speakin’ of which, ya must be hungry. I found some canned food fer us."
Having to keep up with his little act, the boy pretended to more than willingly wriggle into the other's grasp, managing to fake a grin when he intentionally allowed the man's fingers to graze over his soft cheeks.
