Woodhaven House is known more for being a restaurant than a bar. They have two separate bars and both are quite comfortable to sit and have a pint.
The food is very good and the ambiance is pleasant.
Taps are standard for an Irish themed bar. They are they only bar that I am aware of that has Harp on tap.

Open since the early 1930′s this is a true old man’s neighborhood bar. It has a great old time American/Irish feel to it.
They have a backyard area. No food or Wi-Fi.
The tap selection is standard. No micro-brews. Just Guinness, Pabst, Miller and Yuengling. Inexpensive at $3.50 a pint.

This bar is a beer lover’s heaven. They have a huge rotating selection on tap. They also have cask ales, bottles and cans.
Alewife has two levels and there is a small patio on the second level.
They serve food which is excellent. They have Wi-Fi. The music was great and not too loud.

Anchor Steam Big Leaf Maple Autumn Red Anchor Steam Big Leaf Maple Autumn Red There are layers of flavor in this brew. A wonderful balance of the malt & hops with just a touch of sweetness from the maple syrup.

This nano-brewery is located across the street from the LIC flea market. They have a very small tasting room where you can buy growlers, flights, get beer to go and take a tour of the brewery.

This is a nano-brewery which brews extraordinary beers in limited supply. They brew a batch of whatever type it is and that’s it. They don’t brew that style again. Each batch is around ten gallons or forty-two 25oz bottles.

Molson XXX Molson XXX Super Premium beer is Molson's version of a malt liquor. This has an initial malt liquor smell and taste.

Guinness Foreign Extra Stout This is pretty much my all around favorite beer. Certainly in the top 3. All the goodness of Guinness with hops added.
Bell’s Oberon Ale Bell's Oberon Ale Light yellow in color and a little cloudy. This ale has a crisp wheat taste.
