i am going though so many changes right now and it‘s my first time doing all that while being sober from alcohol. i haven’t drank in four years but i remember coping by drinking still. and now i have to feel all the feelings, sit with them and process them and it‘s rough. but i‘m doing well and i am not compelled to pick up a bottle. it‘s just very different right now now than how it used to be.
