When I was a little kid my local library held a Bookmark Art Contest where you had to draw a Dragon Bookmark. Alas I my little wormy fellow sunning himself on a rock did not win, but I'm here what is probably close to two decades later to give my sweet ocean baby another chance... and idk about you, but I'd use him to mark my page.

Surprise! I did Haggarty for "Terrible Comics Day"! There's a really early scene in the book where Haggarty and his friends have an important discussion over some kind of table game and I thought it would make a cute little one-pager v-v The game, Pittily-Willow (named after a bird whose nest is a huge mass of twigs that looks a lot like the game board!) is like a weird inverse Jenga with extra steps: Players take turns placing twigs and hanging little pebbles or small metal balls into an increasingly chaotic "nest" until one player runs out of pebbles/metal balls before running out of sticks. Usually the game is played in 3 rounds and whoever wins the most rounds wins the game, but if you topple the "Nest" you loose the whole game automatically!

Despite USPS’s best efforts to the contrary my commission from @monster-noises / @bartholomewillustrated came today and I am CRYING IN THE CLUB!!!! The doodle on the packaging was just the icing on the cake!

He was so wonderful to work with and the end product is perfection! I couldn’t have picked a better person to commemorate Chrysalis. Thank you so much, dude, from the bottom of my heart!

Had a Bartholomew Special(tm) at work today (my coworker had the day off so i could play my weird fantasy music in piece) and it got my thinking about Haggartyyyyy AH I love my soft little guy....

I know i'm a day late but i Literally finished these things At Midnight and i had to get up at 5 for work okay!! I like doing the silly little details cause it's Fun!!!

Back hurt so bad during life drawing i had to invoke The Back Pain King.

Look! 2025 left me with a few Extra Monthly Expenses that I don't have room for in the budget...

So I'll continuing to take comms for the forseeable future!

Still just traditional, still just 2-4 a round depending on what's requested, but none the less...

Help a guy keep his phone and get mental health support for the first time in 30 years of being alive! Buy some of his Art! (It's good I promise!!)

And to kick things off for January I'm offering a Flat Rate for smaller/post-card sized pieces at $60.00 (CAD)!!! Wow!!!!

Commission for @crowtrobotx of Heis and his daughter Lottie to honour the end of her Heisen-dad fic Chrysalis!

This was such a joy and an honour to do!! I love drawing the factory and of course it was great to draw karl up close again for the first time in a while! And Lottie was such a darling to draw too, trying to capture a little bit of that relationship was very fun vwv)/

OH!!!! this turned out beautifully!!!!!! I love the texture of the beard and the silver in the hair going into the curves! You really got the yearnful melancholy into the eyes v-v)9
