I have now discovered a new pet peeve in FFXIV: people just sitting at the goal in Leap of Faith.

I normally don't care, but this time there were A LOT of people doing it and it was making my game lag horribly. A large group of these people were just sitting at the goal, spamming emotes.

I did mention that they were making the lag worse (not in a rude way btw, I'm not really interested in starting drama on purpose) and then left, cause I don't wanna potentially make the game lag worse for others who may be experiencing it too.

I know that some are probably gonna have dumb opinions on this, but I just want people to respect other players and not ruin the fun for others.

Recently bought fantasia so I could try out some new looks. Already tried out potato and hyur, so now I wanted to try out au'ra. Mainly cause I wanted an excuse to draw my boy as a pretty dragon :')

This is pretty rushed cause I was tired and wanted to get it down so I could sleep, but I'm still pretty happy with it haha

Also, I made this after I saw this thing on twitter where someone said to draw your WOL in your irl outfit, and I thought I'd give it a try. Just be glad I couldn't figure out how to draw any type of shoes on these types of feet, cause I usually wear a pair of bright pink slippers with watermelon and strawberry patterns lol

I recently decided to try out Sage in FFXIV and last night I got it to lvl90, and I've finally made my decision to drop it. I'm not having any fun with it, I struggle with things I normally barely even had to think about (I'm normally an Astrologian main), and I just can't seem to keep up, even in low level dungeons.

But it was fun to try it out and I don't regret it (mostly, I do feel like I could have used some of that time to level my crafters instead). I'll just stick to the jobs I actually understand and enjoy ^^

This guy here is an old oc of mine who I made years ago. I can't remember when exactly, but I think it was when Undertale first started getting really popular? The only reason why I remember that is because this guy was originally supposed to be an Undertale fan character ^^'

The new design is for a video game I dream of making one day, but not sure if I will ever get around to it :')

Anyways, he's a cyborg DJ and his name is Dominic Jewell, or just DJ (I came up with it back when I first created him, so blame my younger self). Does he still count as a cyborg if all that's really left of him is his brain??

Either way, as you can see I made a WHOLE lot of changes. Colours, arms, tail, ears. And he has clothes now! The guy finally has some common sense, I guess.

This post is getting too long, so I'll stop here now. I might make a separate post eventually where I explain him in detail, but that will have to wait until I actually finish all the details of his backstory, the world he lives in, family and friends, etc. I only have the basics so far ^^'

I made this during class cause my teacher spoke in slow-motion and couldn't seem to get to the point, like he himself didn't know what the hell he was supposed to talk about lol I'm obsessed with drawing dragons right now, they're so much fun to make ^^

I was bored and decided to challenge myself by drawing Leonardo’s face in different styles, and these 6 are the ones I came up with ^^

If it’s not already obvious, I’m not too fond of the “NO” face ^^’ I just don’t like the overly “human” look, it just looks.. off. 

I will probably try to clean up the sketches a bit, maybe add some gear and colour. Might be fun ^^

It's complete!! I'm so, so damn proud of this ;__; I'm tired and in pain, but it's totally worth it :') also, I couldn't decide which version I liked more, so I decided to just post both (one has less saturated colours) ^^

Working on this fanart of Leonardo has been amazing so far.

Normally when I draw something I tend to give up on the coloring part of the process. Never bothered learning proper shading stuff because whenever I tried making slightly sharper/harder shadows I ended up hating it and just added softer ones instead. And I'm rarely ever fully satisfied with my art. Feeling like I can't get it right, like something is missing, like I'm not trying hard enough.

But now? Now I'm actually putting in hours of work everyday to make sure that this drawing is perfect, with harder, more noticeable shadows and lighting and everything. And most importantly, I'm having fun. I feel proud, and even though the drawing is nowhere near finished, I feel satisfied.

I feel like I'm starting to break through that old phase, and finally moving on to the next step of learning and evolving my art.

Even if only a few people see this drawing once I post it, I don't care. All I care about is the fact that I've reached a major goal with my art and can, hopefully, move on to make even more from here :)

And hey, maybe I can start going back to how I used to be when I first started off as an artist on DeviantArt. Back when I made new art on a daily basis and felt happy with all of it, even if it was all heavily flawed and riddled with mistakes. If anything, I will try. I'll do my best to be less harsh on myself and have more fun with my art :)

Last night I got a sudden burst of inspiration, and this was the result. My first proper piece of TMNT fanart, and of course it's my favourite turtle, Leonardo ^^

I took inspiration from the 2003 series and the Michael Bay movies because I wanted to go for the realistic, sorta mature style, as well as give him clothes, but the 2003 series has a special place in my heart and that's why I wanted to use that Leonardo as the base for my design.

And, well, I wanted to make him look a lot more like an actual turtle. So, claws. And tail. And the rest is just my personal style lol

So, a few days ago I mentioned that I wanted to try out the Monk job in ffxiv, and I thought I'd give a small update on that :D

Today I finally got it to lvl50 and I can definitely say that it's the most fun I've had in the game since I finished Endwalker! I am glad that I waited with Monk though. It really helped to learn Dragoon and Reaper first, just to first learn positionals (Reaper is still one of my main jobs, it's way too fun to give up!), and then move on to Monk.

Learning how Monk works has actually gone pretty smoothly, and I can't wait to see how it will feel once I hit lvl90 :D I'm absolutely becoming a Monk main, and I don't regret it in the slightest! ^^

I really wanna try out the Monk job in ffxiv, but I'm also not sure if I should. It looks super fun, and I love that type of combat in games, but I've heard that Monk is one of the hardest jobs to learn, and apparently one if the biggest targets of toxic players. Like, if you do a mistake they'll verbally tear you apart? It's just what I've heard though, not sure if it's true. Maybe I'll try it anyways and take the risk? I won't know if I'll like it if I never bother trying it out in the first place! ^^

I'm a bit of a nervous wreck, but maybe I'll enjoy it? Yeah, y'know what? I'm gonna give it a try :D

Finally bought a Wacom Cintiq 16 yesterday and I'm in love :') haven't had this much fun drawing on my computer in a long time ;__; you can definitely expect more art now, because I haven't made any proper art (only sketches, mainly on paper) in... maybe a year now? So I have a LOT of catching up to do :)

This is a bit messy, but this is as good as I could make it with how bad my current drawing tablet is :') this is my ffxiv character (the smallest one) and his three brothers (they're identical quadruplets) sleeping in their adoptive father's hands.

This is really messy, but here's my first piece of Dream fanart! :D I really like the thought of him being a giant axolotl, so that's what I went with here. Since it's just a sketch I didn't bother drawing clothes, but I like to imagine him wearing big clothes to make him look softer and more friendly :)

Decided to try drawing a background and I’m kinda happy with it? It’s not done of course, just a messy sketch, but it’s good enough for now while I finish my other stuff :D I didn’t really know what to do with the demon statues, so I just did something ^^’

I wanted a new icon to match my new look in ffxiv, and this was the result. I may have gone a bit overboard (as usual) but I kinda like it? It’s really messy, just a clean sketch that I coloured cause I was too lazy to make the proper lineart XD
