So, it’s been a few months since we have updated.
It doesn’t get any easier, remembering our sweet little alien. Not really.
But, the seasons are changing, and that means kitten season is among us once more. As we did last year, we are staring to take in kittens to foster and adopt out, a litter of four quite literally dumped on us this Monday.
We don’t expect to find a Bartok. But, that isn’t the goal. We plan on finding many, many happy homes for other kittens, as we always have done. Last season we found homes for over 20 kittens, our household alone, we hope to do the same this year.
I considered continuing to update Bartok’s blog, but I feel its best to leave it as a memorial. His old photos are still gaining attention, and it makes me happy that people still love him after all this time. I went back and hid the posts regarding his medical issues towards the end, as we’d love people to remember him as he lived.
If you would like, the link above is to a new blog, ran by all of us once more. It will document new kittens wandering into our home, and their future adoption stories. Follow if you’d like, we’d love to have you with us to see more adorable faces.
Thanks everyone, for everything you’ve done. All the messages over time have been heartbreakingly sweet, I read them all rather often.
See you in the future. It’s time to serve as a temporary refuge for more bobble-headed aliens.
