✢
Send me a ✢ for my muse’s reaction to seeing yours standing on their doorstep soaking wet in the rain.
The news forecast predicted rain, lots or rain. So much rain, that flash-flood warnings were being sent to phones, and being broadcasted, rather loudly, through any television set that happened to be on.
Desperately reaching over opened textbooks and hand-written notes, Satsuki quickly retrieved the remote, pressing the power button as soon as the warning began to chime in her secluded room. What idiot would be outside anyway..? As the remote dropped to her side, she found herself removing her glasses, only to massage the bridge of her nose.
There’s no point in even playing it if they’re people out—
The sharp, ear splitting, clap of thunder caused the analyst to jump out of her skin, the sole source of light in the room was suddenly lost in the storm. “Crap..” although she had been home alone many times, storms and all, Satsuki found herself recalling a movie Aomine and herself had been watching a few weeks prior. A murderer sneaking his way into the girl’s house, during a storm. “No,” she reassured herself, crawling out of her bed. “Nobody is going to kill you, it was just a movie—”

With a hand over her mouth, her knees began to shake, the hollow sound echoing again. Turning to her bed, cerise eyes landed on her cellphone, the dim glow allowing her eyes to find it beneath the blankets.
Kagamin~
[txt]: do you think you could let me in… please? i think my phone might be water damaged…
Bakagami..! As she stomped her way down stairs, a sliver of red could be seen waiting outside her front door. Removing the door from it’s hinges, Kagami stood drenched from head-to-toe, his skin slowly becoming a sickly pale hue. “Y-You.. you Bakagmi! Get in here, stupid, you’re gonna catch a cold!” Stepping through the door way, the manager found herself pulling the power forward inside, closing the door behind her. “… I’ll go get you a towel.. in exchange for staying in my house, you can tell me why you were out during a flood.”
Swapping her dry device for the wet surfaced one, Satsuki smiled in response. She then left the red head by the door, retreating to the kitchen in order to find the large bag of rice her mother bought. “If you can’t get a hold of anyone, I could ask my mom to drive you home once she gets back.” She offered, lifting the heavy bag out from under the microwave and onto the floor.
She then dipped a bowl into the bag, scooping up enough of the rice to fill the container. The analyst then dug a small hole within the small mound, sticking the phone inside and burying it again, only to walk back into the living room.
"Hey, do you want some new clothes? I have some of Dai-chan’s clothes he leaves here that you could wear."
He used her phone, sending a text to a few friends that described the main details of what had happened. Only to have not a single one of them actually return his message. “That might be nice, thank you,” he returned to her for what felt like the 6th time that night. After he was finished, he gently placed the phone on to a near by table.
"Huh? No." It took all Kagami had not to make a sarcastic reply or a sneer answer. The very thought of Aomine’s dirty dumb clothes so much as being with in a few feet of him was enough to make him want to vomit up every hamburger he ever ate. Speaking of Aomine however…
"Why do you even hang out with that guy?" He wasn’t ever one to hold his tongue. "He’s a complete jerk to you - from what I seen at least." That one time he had called her ugly - that sort of stuff could be really damaging to a girl her age! Not that he was any better, having made he cry just moments later…
