I need everyone’s help! Me and a few creative partners of mine have created a short horror film titled “In Plain Sight” and entered it into a local community college competition. Our goal is to rank in the top five most liked so that we may be considered by the judges. Right now we are in place #5 but could very easily slide out. If you could all watch “In Plain Sight” and give it a like (1 like = 1 vote) then we could be considered. A lot of work went into this film and it would be greatly appreciated.

Ignoring the blood that now covered her hands the tiny woman keeps her eyes on his face, her own hardening with anger and slight annoyance. She was sick and tired of his constant fighting, and now he was trying to convince her he was okay? She wasn’t stupid, and in anger she presses the heel of her hand into his wound, cursing under her breath.

Why would he call her, then tell her to fuck off when he was clearly injured? She supposed it didn’t occur to him she could leave him for dead. Either that or he didn’t care. She shakes her head, removing one hand to reach out and give him her coat as a pillow.

"Yeah, this is what everyone does taking a nap. I love bleeding to death when I take a nap."

Noodle bites her lip, immediately regretting her sarcastic remark. Now wasn’t the time. “I’m going to call an ambulance. If you so much as move I’m knocking your ass out cold.”

His arm shot out, grabbing her wrist in a vice grip. He sat up slowly, painfully, breathing rapidly to keep himself awake.

     "N-nno.. hospital..."

He wouldn't tell her if she asked why.. It was for him to know... Nothing she need concern herself with. His mother had spent the better part of her life in a hospital and he'd spent a fair amount of time there, thanks to his father. Bad memories plagued him... Though he knew it was irrational, he feared the sterile halls. The screaming, the doom and gloom that hung heavy over the very building. Grim; They were a place for dying.

Murdoc fumbled for a lie, but couldn't find one and simply settled on repeating his demand/plea.

      "No h-hospitals.... please."

The foul tempered male ripped his eye contact from her, ashamed at the how weak he must look. Another shaking fit wracked his body, sending jolts of fire radiating from his bullet wounds. He was just tired from blood loss, he assured himself. He just needed to rest... He'd picked bullets out of himself before... He could do it again.

But deeper in his mind, he knew he was lying to himself. He could barely see straight, let alone hold a pair of tweezers.

He needed help and he hated it.

    "I'm fine...Kid, i'm fine

    I jus' need to r-r...to rest --

       An' then i can get the bullets out.."

Murdoc kept walking, eyes fixed in front of him.
