he doesn’t even look at her, just lifts his hand and flips her off like she’s not worth more than two seconds of his attention. honestly, if he wasn’t so fucking lazy, he probably would’ve punched her straight in the mouth already. “jesus fuckin' christ, don’t you have anything better to do?” his voice comes out sharp and irritated, that familiar edge of anger sitting just beneath it. “actually, forget it. we both already know the answer to that.”

DESPITE THE KILLER'S CASUAL FACADE? THE FEAR OF DEATH still plagued some dark recess of Danny's mind. a fear he'd dare not feed ( not under the watchful eye of the Entity ). afterall, Frank always offered more than enough distraction - buttons pressed at just the right time and place to exacerbate the younger's UNBRIDLED FURY. a meaningless trespass here. a snide remark there. the cold, hard truth was: he made it too easy —- .

biting back a groan as Frank's weight sunk the blade in deeper still — . the scent of blood dancing beneath the seams of the Ghost Face's mask (...) PICTURE PERFECT, if he said so himself. a shame his camera was tucked beneath the other's weight - safe if only by the Entity's graces. ❝ don't pretend like you don't enjoy our little rendezvous, Frankie. ❞ tongue soothing over paling lips from beneath ghoulish facade. pupils blown as the BLOOD-LOSS began to make his head swim.

❝ I'm the only one that gives you a run for your money — survivor or killer — and you know it. ❞ thumb flicking the strap upon his boot. blade unsheathed from leather before moving to plunge into the wealth of his worse half's hip. ❝ admit it, ❞ ghoulish visage canting as he swallowed thick, ❝ you're already looking forward to it. ❞

HE DIDN'T FLINCH when the blade punched into his hip. he just sucked a breath through his teeth and stayed exactly where he was, like pain was nothing more than a mild irritation. like it wasn't something he got off on. at this point, it was all of those things. pain was just part of the job. part of the cycle he learned to enjoy. just like danny — who never fucking took his threats seriously. frank’s grip on the knife in danny’s shoulder didn’t loosen. if anything, it tightened. he twisted it just enough to drive the point home in every way possible.

“you’re not special,” frank growled, voice low and dripping with venom. but still there was a flicker of something behind his eyes. not admiration. not respect. just acknowledgment. because danny wasn’t wrong. he did give frank a run for his money. no matter how many times frank drove a knife in, the bastard always came back for more. he shifted his weight forward, grinding the blade in a little more as danny buckled under him, and yeah — there was satisfaction in that. not just from the pain, but from the control. the message. the reminder.

the cold bit at the edges of his vision, mixing with the hot sting of blood leaking down his leg, but frank still didn't move. the air between them was thick with steam and tension and whatever the fuck passed for chemistry in a place like this. "the difference is you're the only fuckin' one who seems to enjoy being under me just as much as i enjoy it." a grin curled under his mask — sharp and mean, more teeth than humor. he didn’t need to see danny’s face to know some cocky retort was already forming behind that plastic ghost sneer. didn’t need to hear it, either. with no warning, frank tore the knife free from danny’s shoulder, the blade leaving the body with a slick, wet sound. he let it drop, the metal hitting the frozen ground beside them with a dull thunk. then he shifted his weight, settling it hard and deliberate against danny’s lower half. keeping him down. caging him without touching more than necessary.

“and to think,” the teenager said, his tone curling into something darker, rougher, “you could’ve been fucking me in the snow.” he leaned in just enough for his breath to hit plastic. “but nah. you always gotta run your fuckin’ mouth instead.”

KNIFE PLUNGED INTO THE WEALTH OF DANNY'S SHOULDER like an ANCHOR as Frank's weight toppled them both to the unforgiving ground ( ... ) an old wound that few would know about and fewer still would be stupid enough to leverage against the Ghost Face —- . LEGION painfully smug as he straddled the other killer ( self-satisfaction dripping from beneath the painted smile ).

and, yet? what a travesty to behold. the moment nearly ruined by Frank's villainous monologue. ❝ don't be such a bore. what are you? a child fishing for compliments? ❞ commentary cut short as the younger gave the blade a cruel twist - leather and flesh giving way with ease. head rocked back with a muted snarl, teeth bared like a wild animal beneath the ghoulish mask, as the snow beneath them was painted ruby red. ❝ you're playing out of your league, Frankie. ❞ one gloved hand holding Frank's wrist in a vice grip as the other fished for his own, secondary blade tucked neatly against his boot — .

EVENTUALLY YOU'D THINK HE'D LEARN. but no. danny was back in ormond again, like a cockroach that refused to stay crushed. and frank? frank had run out of patience ages ago. the knife had gone in clean, slicing through the meat of danny’s shoulder and the tip was buried in the ground, pinning him there like some grotesque piece of street art. blood bloomed fast, soaking into the cold dirt beneath them, but ghostface barely flinched. he just talked, gritting his teeth through the pain. in a way, frank wouldn't have been surprised if he wasn't fucking grinning under that fucking mask, too.

frank leaned in close, breath fogging in the frozen air between them, his hand still wrapped tight around the knife’s handle. his jaw ached from how hard he was clenching it. fury simmered under his skin, ready to boil over. “we keep havin' these same fucking conversations. you come back, you get stabbed. i know you don't have much of a brain, but holy fuck. use it. ” his voice was low, words sharp enough to cut. “you’d think you’d have figured that out by now. but nah. you keep coming back like you’ve got a fucking death wish.” and hell, at this point. maybe they all had a death wish. the realms never allowed them that peace.

the hand wrapped around his wrist had an unusual strength to it for someone who seemed so.. tiny. frank would know all about that, though. the entity didn't leave her killers with nothing, after all. frank was able to carry full blown men across the realms to the meat hooks because of her gift. "next time it won't be my knife going into your shoulder. next time it's going to be my initials being carved into skin. maybe then you'll get a fuckin' clue, dumbfuck."

cleaned out 99.9% of my follower list to cut some loose ties. nothing personal, but my mental health / peace is worth more. with that being said, i'm going to try to come back here and start writing again. i know i keep saying it, but there's like a mental block keeping me from actually staying here. but new year, new me.
