A year is not so long in the long run, I think. I’m sure it will be over before any of us realizes. You should watch it at night, when it is about to flower - it will only bloom for a few hours before wilting again, and the blossoms are stunning.

I have, yes! The red varieties make excellent food coloring, as well. One would be hard-pressed to find a dye quite so rich in any ingredient beyond, possibly, beets.

…Do they produce fruit through self-fertilization? Perhaps we should order one more plant.

SO MUCH LOVE (so much!) to bastionthebeepboop, who is and continues to be my absolute favorite Bastion RPer. Arin has a knack for immediately finding the voice of any character they pick up, which I deeply respect them for. Whether they’re writing an OC or a canon character, their writing has a way of drawing you in and making you care, and it’s clear they understand the people they RP as.
