2. What made you decide to write this muse?

It was an impulse decision, made after I’d emptied a wine bottle at 1am, but ultimately, I just love the guy? He has a sense of humor, a decent sense of justice and I wanted to get the writing juices flowing again now that I have spare time so I figured, why not?

5. If you could give your muse one gift, what would you give them?

I have contemplated letting him keep the yacht he stole, because he deserves a place to call his omg

8. Do you genuinely want your muse to be happy? What do you think would make them most happy in life?

Absolutely. For all his flaws, Baptiste is what I consider to be a good man, because he strives to be a good human being, and that’s enough for me to wish good things upon people. He rights wrongs, despite what he thinks of what he thinks himself to be, and that’s commendable to me.

I think the thing that would make him the happiest is a life where he can use his knowledge, without anything threatening to hurt the people he cares about, or his home. He’s very fond of his birthplace, and should the people there thrive, it would mean the world to him.

Baptiste speaks his mind, for better or worse. I, for one, love that about a character, and doubly so as a support main bc let’s be real- we’ve all stuck out our necks for some DPS main who didn’t even bother with a simple “thanks” after being saved for the n’th time lol

Baptiste likes to think that he is a good man, but I think that deep down he knows that there is no undoing what he’s been complicit in. So yes, at some level he does consider himself dangerous, even if he tries his damndest to not be that man anymore.
