But today wasn’t about beginnings, today was about endings, the ending of a year-long bet between Dick and Barbara. Since her joining the precinct, she and Dick struggled to get along at times, Dick’s often childish nature colliding with Barbara’s strict professionalism and although it seemed more angry or hateful in nature, the two held respect for each other beneath it all and maybe even a little love.
