Been a long time, but let's get back to it. Highly recommended to check out the original score. Mad love and respect.

Groove Remote - On the Show Hey Arnold! this is what Arnold listens to when he's down.

Beats, drums, and a brilliant jazz piano sample. Originally produced for the anime series Samurai Champloo, Nujabes & Fat Jon took messy and unruly sounds to create a smooth and elegant soundscape. They sampled Ahmad Jamal - Lament (highly recommend jazz track) and revamped it to something completely different. Something with depth that demands attention.
I personally hold this song very dearly and respectfully within my music library. As a matter of fact, I've been so anxious to upload this that I had to put down my chores today just to do so. Many times I use this song during moments of introspection. I find parallels to the mayhem of sounds within the song to the many events and thoughts that go on in my life. Wrapped up and streamlined, they all come together to create something greater, respectful, and soulful.
If I were to ever asked to decide on a song that would be playing in the background the my life, I'd refer them to this.
Cheers,
- dak

This instrumental is the perfect soundtrack to your thoughts when you need to eject yourself from life for a moment to get your mind right and get back on track.
