They talked the talk and walked the walk and put their money on it too. I don't really care that I can't afford and don't want this merch, I love to see my community getting the respect it deserves. I think Levi's donates to Outreach International every year too, as well as sponsoring pride events and other community support. They were offering Same Sex domestic partner benefits to employees in the 90s, and have been very public about their support for pro-lgbt legislation all through the 2000s.

So, you know, a giant corporation that walks the walk pretty consistently.

People send me asks every week informing me they’ve seen my fics used for ai chatbots or that they themself on alt accounts are scraping my fics to generate ai writing(which is seriously messed up)

At first I stayed quiet, not wanting to bring it up because I know it’ll just cause more people to scrape my works.

But I’m so tired. I’m tired of my hard work being stolen. Why do you do this to us? Haven’t I given you enough free stories? Do you know how much I love all of you, how happy it made me when people commented on my fics and said they liked them?

Now that AI is more popular, I’ve seen in real time how people started treating writers like they were just a content farm. People abandon us or feed our works into AI if we don’t pump out stories fast enough.

It’s exhausting. The last few years I wrote so much that I ended incredibly burnt out to the point I’ve barely written anything in the past few months, but it’s still not enough.

Nothing is enough.

Please, for the love of god give your favorite writers some love. A lot of us are so close to giving up. I know I am.

In your meddling monsters au how do you imagine the gang met/found out the other was a monster?

im combining these bc it gave me an idea!

im not too attached to any one way they met, but pup named scooby doo is fun so why not have them meet as kids :) plus since they're kids, i think they'd be more open-minded to monsters/humans/ppl who aren't like them

so!! i think they'd all meet as kids, and either daphne fred n velma have already known theyre all monsters OR they all find out first and THEN shaggy and scooby are the only ones in the dark. maybe they solve a mystery or play together, and scooby keeps catching them doing monstery stuff, but everytime shaggy looks over it's normal.

eventually, though, the secret is revealed that theyre all monsters... but shaggy's had such a nice time with them that he doesn't mind! scooby follows soon after, and they all become friends who don't have to hide from eachother :)

we are not doomed!! of course scrappy has a place in meddling monsters :) although I don't think he should be main cast, he's good to show up for some movies or specials. he's still the same scrappy, not a werehuman or anything.

ive actually had the idea of him finding out that scooby's a werehuman for a while... so take this comic!!

scooby was nervous that his nephew would see him differently, but of course, scrappy still loves him all the same <3
