Hi again Guts! I have a random question. Can stuff you didn't expect happen outside of your script? Like something occurs that you didn't expect, someone told you something random like one of their secrets or they said they have a crush on you or dislike you etc? 'Cuz I've seen people say that Snape from HP was suddenly their bio dad without any scripts, or that some people got confessed to without any scripting etc. etc.

This is based on my experience, and I’m not much of a scripter. I did it the first couple of times I shifted (especially to places like AOT and GOT because... I didn’t want to die lmao) and the results were about what I expected. Whatever I scripted in to be changed crossed over perfectly fine. The only thing that was a little weird to me was the butterfly effect that some of my scripting choices had. For example, in my AOT universe, I scripted that a certain person who died early on was still alive. This was all fine and well, but other people had interactions with this person that were definitely unscripted interactions. It was interesting to see how this one person being alive affected the dynamic everyone had with each other later on. As for familial relationships, as you mentioned above, it seems like a stretch to me. They must have had some strong intentions behind Snape being their biological dad for it to have happened in their DR without them scripting. Or perhaps that’s just something that hasn’t happened to me yet? Either way, scripts are effective and should be used if you need to alter your DR in any sort of way. Things happening that are not scripted are entirely possible, but most of the time they aren’t changes that should impact you severely. You always send such good questions. Thank you for asking them!
