[Yo. Trim your posts, please.]
He grinned, head finally turning so he could look at the other man. His hands rested neatly in his lap, and his mood remained cheerful and positive despite the current state the Batter was in.
"I haven’t seen you in a while either, my friend. I would say it is nice to see you are doing well, but that does not appear to be the case." He scooted a bit closer to him, eyes examining him as he tried to assess the damages done to him, and how much of the blood was his own.
"Run out of Tickets already?"
To be honest, Batter wasn't sure what blood was his own, or what was another creatures. He moved a hand, touching his face and pulling back to see if he was bleeding at all. Ah, yep. There it was. He pressed his thumb and index together, rolling the liquid between his fingers before wiping it on his shirt.
"Just a run in with some violent secretaries, I suppose."
That was partly true. He HAD run into some pretty angry secretaries, but there was a bit more than just that. Of course, he kept his mouth sealed about such a matter. The Batter simply sighed, letting his head tilt to the side as he looked over at the merchant beside him. The other having taken an interest in looking over his wounds, and the blood from his enemies.
"I am fine, just do not see the need to use one of my tickets just yet."
He paused, moving to wipe away a trickle of blood that began to drip down into his eye.
"I would appreciate a Belial's meat, however." The man hadn't eaten in a quite a while.. A steak would be lovely. He simply gestured with his head, and the credits dropped down beside the two.

"I don’t think I could be either." He said as he let out a laugh. Zacharie loved the Batter’s smile and was sure to try and make him smile more often: he found the purifier’s smile just too adorable.
He trotted along with the other, his eyes still hooked onto his face in a friendly and happy way. “Well, I’ll try my best to, I don’t think you’d be that hard to drag.” He said in a light sort of manner, nodding a few times.
Batter never thought himself to be attractive, let alone 'adorable'... Oh goodness. If he was ever called something like that out loud it would fluster the heck out of him.
The man reached out slowly, setting a hand on the others head to ruffle his hair a bit in amusement. "Seeing as you carry that bag around.. I wouldn't be surprised if you are actually much stronger than you look." He shook his head, and shrugged, finally retracting his hand to let it fall back to his side.
The merchant didn’t say anything. Didn’t comment on his absence. Didn’t comment on his appearance. He simply slid over to him, resting on the ground a little ways from him.
He allows the silence to drag on, to mingle with the open air and spread about. His eyes are kept forward, even as he spoke, finally breaking the quiet, saying, “I don’t wish to alarm you, but there seems to be a small spot of blood on your jersey. I thought you should know.”
Well, it seemed that the Merchant somewhat respected the silence. At least for a few minutes. It gave the man a moment to rest, to collect his thoughts a little more. His fingers drummed against his bat patiently.
As the quiet was broken by the others.. .. 'comment', he looked up, and shook his head, a hum managing to escape his throat. "..I can see that." He tugged at his shirt, glancing at the red speckles that stained it. The smell was something he was unsurprisingly used to. He would have to wash everything off, later.
"I haven't seen you in a while, Zacharie."
A stubborn enough person can survive just about anything. Rage is a hell of an anaesthetic.

Im bleeding out for you…
uhm… sorry if its creepy, i wanted to try a style i guess? haha!
Remember when I said Batter tended to go MIA every so often? Yeah, that happened again. Whatever he returned from, it look like it took quite a toll on him. Red smeared his cheeks as he sat down on the ground, still and silent as can be.
He didn't say much, but he glanced up at the other approaching with little interest, only to really acknowledge their presence. It seemed his focus was more on resting at this point.

so i was playing OFF
and just as i was laughing about how calm and cool batter is about every situation encountered.
then this happened.
if i was the batter my reaction would have been something like…
and then i would eject myself into the whispering void forever.
".... I could corrupt his file if I so wished.. Yet I find myself coming back again and again. Is it foolishness? Or am I beginning to pity the man who has committed such unthinkable acts? I fear both paths. I do not want to go mad here, that is not what I came here to do. I came here to learn, to study.. This was never truly a game for me, but after finding out the truth.. It only got that much more serious."
She suddenly went quiet, arms holding her elbows as she sat in a pure white room, nothing but a chair to hold her as she thought. There were no windows, no lights. The Batter underestimated her ability to hide from him.. He underestimated her in general. It made her grind and gnash at her teeth in frustration. In a way, she wished he were an angel, simply so she could rip his wings off herself.
There were no windows, no lights, yet she could see his every movement and hear his every word. She trembled, fingers itching and writhing, wishing she could do more than just sit and watch him.. She had no control over the man until she decided to begin his mission all over again.
"Deleting his file would bring me no joy. I would prefer to glitch his file or mess with the coding. Make him suffer for his transgressions. 'Just' man my ass.. He used me. He used us all."
Her lips twitched into a frown, and she began to chew at it. She respected his bravery and determination, but also grew to loathe him after learning the lengths he was willing to go just to complete his mission. The player never said much to him.. She held her tongue, watching him go about his life, studying him. How ironic, the hypocrisy she felt when she realized she was just as willing to go to many lengths to make sure he knew how she felt.
"..But that would mean having the others suffer as well. This is not fair.. I can not fight him myself. I am strong of mind, but he is strong of body.."
Her hands balled into fists, and she stood up. She needed to get some air. She was over thinking again. Getting angry. She took a step forward, and immediately transported.. Off somewhere new.
this is really stupid

"It’s only a figure of speech, Batter." Zach said warmly as he gave another grin. "I doubt there’ll be any of those whales in the other world, however I may stand corrected." He shook his head slightly, laughing to himself.
The merchant followed as the other began to walk- there was a small happy skip in his step. It had been a while since he had taken a walk just out of leisure so he was looking forward to their little stroll. He quickly caught up with the purifier so he could walk alongside him, looking up at him happily. “Well let’s hope; we wouldn’t want you fainting out of exhaustion, would we?”
"I will not be happy if there are corrupted whales floating about." He joked back, managing to flash a grin back at the other. ..Smiling felt weird. It wasn't going to be easy if he were to ever try making that a more common occurrence.
Batter watched the other follow after him, chuckling a bit in his mind seeing how happy the other again. It was strangely cute. ..He would never say that though. It was just nice to see someone in the zones genuinely happy, too. "..I don't think I have ever fainted before." He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. "If I do, I would ask that you move me somewhere that isn't.. out in the open." He forced a chuckle. "If I'm not too heavy."
