The Steel Pub Gets a Rename!

The Steel Pub has been around for a little over three years now, and was originally created by Bathildis Ironstout as member of Clan Steelgrasp.  Though Bath ran the pub, the name of the tavern was suggested by Thane Furgas Steelgrasp, himself.  In fact, The Steel Pub was short for the Steelgrasp Public House.

At our three-year anniversary, however, we were happy to announce that the Steel Pub has undergone a name change.  It will now be referred to as Battlestein Brewpub in honor of it’s host guild, the Battlestein Company.

Fortunately, the name is the only thing that has changed!  We offer the same Dwarves, the same beer, the same night, the same time, and the same great service you’ve come to expect!  So if you’re ever looking to kill some time on Sunday nights between 6-9 pm, come out to Anvilmar and visit the Dwarves of the Mead Hall for some renowned hospitality, and the best Khaz damned brews in Khaz Modan!

The Steel Pub Turns Three! 1/13/19

Join Clan an’ Kin at the Steel Pub in Anvilmar on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 6-9 PM! This will be our 3rd Anniversary Bash! Come celebrate the founding of a server renowned establishment with free booze, games, and RP!

Dec. 9th:  Market Night returns to Battlestein Imports!

The Battlestein Company’s Market Night returns, this time at their Boralus base of operations - Battlestein Imports!  Come visit us for the finest wares from Khaz Modan imported directly to you in Boralus!  Feel free to come visit us across from the barber shop, and sample our wares.  This event will be held in lieu of the Steel Pub, thus the Travelin’ Tankard will be present to serve free drinks!

Battlestein Imports: Grand Opening!

Join the Battlestein Company as we finally unveil months of hard work!  Battlestein Imports in the Dampwick Ward of Boralus will be opening November 11th, from 6pm to 9pm!  Find us across from the barbershop for the finest imported wares from Khaz Modan!

The Travelin’ Tankard will be there featuring free samples of some of Battlestein’s Brews, among other things, so be sure to come meet the Company, sample our wares, and browse masterworks created by some of the best artisans in the Eastern Kingdoms.

The Steel Pub, Sundays 6-9pm

Join clan and kin in Anvilmar’s local tap house, the Steel Pub!  Located in Coldridge Valley, Dun Morogh for three years, this cozy tavern is the perfect place to spend your Sunday evenings.  What better way to relax, than drinking cold brews next to a warm hearth and even warmer hearts?

The Battlestein Brewery Welcomes Rhagnerock Slagstout!

Over the last year, the Steel Pub has seen incredible changes! Two new brewers were hired, completing representation of all three major clans.

We've even added on a full-time chef in recent months! As the Pub continues to grow in popularity, more hands are needed to help maintain the increase in demand. With the profits earned under the Battlestein Company, we have finally done just that!

Meet Rhagnerock Slagstout. This Dark Iron greybeard has been brewing for over one hundred years! An impressive feat, no doubt. The Slagstouts have been a Dark Iron brewing family for some generations and taught Rhagnerock their craft. Their specialty ales feature a fiery core added to the batch to provide an extra kick. Rhagnerock uses this technique to this day with his "MC Hard-Cider" - a drink you can sample at the Steel Pub! Rhagnerock draws a lot of his inspiration from the days of old and from his ancestors, using his brews to honor their memory and tradition.

Rhagnerock brings with him three new brews added to the Steel Pub Menu! Try them this week!

Slagstout's Cinnamon Malt: A rich and flavorful malt with hints of cinnamon and caramel.

Dark Iron Slag: A dark stout with heavy earthy tones and a coffee finish.

MC Hard-Cider: A fruity hard apple cider with a cinnamon kick and a fiery core to give it a flaming effect!

March 25th: Market Night at Stormwind Harbor!

Join the Battlestein Company’s trade caravan as we hit the road and open up a market somewhere in Azeroth!  This will be the Battlestein Company’s first of many Market Nights.  These Sunday night events will happen once per month, and take place in lieu of a Steel Pub.

When: Sunday March 25th, 6pm - 9pm

Where: Stormwind Harbor

Who: Contact Bathildis or Darkdraft for info!

Crafters from all walks of life will be there. Stop by and repair your weapons, buy some new armor, or barter for ancient curios from across the sea.  Grab a meal and a drink - or two!  These are among the finest wares from the legendary crafters of Khaz Modan! Sad to miss the Steel Pub?  No worries!  The whole pub is loaded up into a cart called the Travelin’ Tankard, and it will be there, too!  Stay tuned and check the calendar regularly for location details!

Spring Brews Rotate In!

As Winter comes to an end, the Steel Pub prepares by adding all new Spring Brews to the menu.  Don’t worry, we’ll also be bringing back some returning favorites!  Be sure to come down and grab a stein with some of our amazing new dishes!

The Steel Pub Welcomes Sunhildr “Sunny” Fardelver!

The Steel Pub has long been a place for the good folk of Khaz Modan to come and have a drink!  While food has been on the menu, it was always just a side-note to the massive drink selection. With the Steel Pub now operating under the flag of Battlestein Company, we have decided to hire a full-time chef! Meet Sunhildr "Sunny" Fardelver! She will be a permanent addition to the Steel Pub team, offering home-style country cooking!  With a wide range of new ingredients, Sunny has the resources to make many wonderful additions to the menu!  Look for her rotating weekly platters that are sure to leave you feeling full and happy! Week 1: Fish Fry: A wide array of fish fried, baked, boiled... any way you like it! Fish cooked to order with a side of "dragonfire" spiced vegetable chips.

Week 2: Ribs: Pork or exotic Mushan ribs basted in our own craft beers or barbecued to order in homemade barbecue sauce. Served alongside mashed herbed potatoes topped with handcrafted butter.

Week 3: Poultry: Chicken, turkey, duck, birds galore! March: Fried chicken! Served with a side of salted and/or seasoned fries.

Week 4: Steak: Beef or Elk steak seared to perfection and topped with a flavorful and rich mushroom gravy. Optional side of vegetables or potatoes.
