Popular Books I Haven't Read Yet - Influence My TBR!
What's a popular book you haven't read yet (but intend to)?
Good afternoon, book lovers and bookish bats! Most of us on Bookstagram have a never-ending, always-growing TBR. We're even proud of the fact, because it means a constant influx of new-to-us books; new adventures, characters, love stories, favorite quotes--the list goes on. Unfortunately, the feeling of FOMO isn't always avoidable. Whether you're a fast reader or like to linger in a story, there's always a book out there, waiting for you to dive in and fall in love all over again.
As a reminder, you should never feel pressured to read a hyped book. Your TBR is your own.
That being said, /I/ personally have a long list of books I WANT to read, not to join in on the hype, but out of curiosity. Help me narrow down the list! Here are a few popular books I haven't read yet -- which should I prioritize?

Comment on posts with the intention of turning every Bookstagrammer into a new friend
Genuine connections make the Booksta
experience matter.
Show people you care, & they’ll care, too.
Avoid Platitudes
“Pretty!” “Love this!”
“Cool!” “Such a good post!”
These comments make it difficult to maintain a conversation.
Don’t rush to comment with cliches. Instead, ask questions. Show your genuine interest.
Explore Before Following
Explore a book lover’s content before following. Consider what you have in common (favorite books, authors, shared values, etc.)
Following accounts you can forge real connections with increases the likelihood that they’ll follow, too
Avoid Follow Trains
“Follow these seven hosts & sacrifice your entire book library before commenting!”
Follow trains won’t help you forge meaningful connections. In fact, it could hurt your chances of finding followers who stay.
Press Pause
Socializing on Bookstagram (& remember, it IS a social media platform) shouldn’t feel like a chore or part-time job
Establish a schedule for yourself to minimize how long you’re online
Prioritize Mental Health
Obsessing over engagement or the algorithm can lead to burnout
Post. Engage with new accounts.
Respond to comments & dms.
Then set your phone down.
Read that book you’re neglecting.
Relax. Your Bookstagram growth does not determine your worth.
