Little headcanons I have about Jesse’s life in Alaska:

- He definitely gets more tattoos. I think unlike his other tattoos they would be more symbolic and remind him of people he loved, like two birds to represent Jane and Andrea and something for his friends, brother and Brock.

- His employment is all over the place when he first arrives. He takes on various manual labor jobs that pay in cash and stays at a motel until he can find an apartment to rent.

- He gets the cheapest apartment he can find and it has a nice view of the outside, but it needs a lot of fixing. Leaky faucets, draft, badly painted, squeaky doors, etc. Slowly he repairs everything over time before he makes the money to move into a cabin.

(In my mind him first moving into his new apartment rings “similar-but-its-all-different-now” to when he moved into Jane’s apartment, e.g., similar tenant questioning)

- He spends a lot of his downtime just sitting outside and ruminating in a funk when he first arrives until he gets handed a flyer/sees an advertisement for a very cheesy looking ‘community music group’ that sticks in his head until he decides to try it out.

- He ends up liking it way more than he thought and hesitantly makes friends from the sessions. He mentions his only experience in music is from his dumb highschool rock band, “TwaüghtHammër.” The memory is funny and he misses Badger.
