The Sunken Valley

THIS realm was my pride and joy of Mermaid World!

I had this vision of alt-mermaids living in a polluted/junkyard realm, and I managed to get it to three stars!

Getting the star for decorating was tricky since all of the trash counted for 0% and the amount of decorations was limited!

On top of that I spent SO many pearls swapping likes to get the mermaids to like each other! I loved this realm so so much!

Hidden Arches.

Again, not my best work. It could be pretty impossible to get three star realms without some mixed aesthetics!

I absolutely love the Lum mermaid (left) here. She was an Easter event mermaid and one of my earliest event mermaids! Her color pallet is just so dreamy!

I’m not 100% sure but I think this is Dreamwater Lagoon.

Aside from Sparkle Pinkle the other girlies here really vibe well color-wise and aesthetically!

I love the little vanity next to the set of drawers, like it’s some mermaid’s little place to get ready.

Is this Coral Gardens?

If I’m being honest, this realm isn’t too exciting. But my second shark mermaid, Carcha lived here! I really loved the shark mermaids!

Left to Right:

Here’s my Ice Haven realm! I was never able to get another blue mermaid to fit in, so Cupid lived here til the end. She brings some contrast to the realm, I guess.

But most notably in this realm is the Atlantis mermaid on the left! She has such a cool design and is definitely one of the more unique mermaids! Plus I couldn’t find any full body pics of her online! So now here she is, ready to be immortalized on the internet!

To the right of Atlantis and Cupid we’ve got Twinkletail, Celestia, and Silversong

Moving right along to The Crystal Cave. Now this realm really starts to show the effort I put into this game! I put lots of time not only into achieving three star realms, but also making them as aesthetic as possible, trying to match mermaids that I thought looked good with each other and with their realm. I think I did pretty well with this one!

From left to right we have Emerald, Stinger, then three event mermaids, Dahlia, Violet Anemone(another fave of mine), and Gigi, one of the unicorn mermaids!

Here’s my next realm, Deep Water Cove. The most exciting thing here is the Harvest event mermaid. I liked to name my mermaids wild names based around their themes.. and with her Thanksgiving theming, this poor girl got the name TurkeyTits. Too bad her head is detached from her body!

I wonder how many Bluebelle mermaids were named Dory, like mine.

We’ve also got Honeydew and Charming Violet, though I don’t think I renamed them.

I think about Mermaid World a lot. I’d give anything to have this game back… anyway I have a bunch of screenshots of my realms from just before they cancelled the game. I’ll try to post my realms in their original order, but we’re starting with Kelp Sanctuary because I didn’t take any screenshots of Mystic Rocks. That’s ok though, I think it just housed the first few common mermaids which there are plenty of photos of.

BUT Kelp Sanctuary here housed one of my favorite mermaids ever, Sphyrna, the exclusive hammerhead mermaid! I love her so much with her lil grumpy face!! Pretty sure I named her Sharkeisha. We’ve also got Luau, Velvet Swirl, and another exclusive mermaid, Aquamarine here.

In the end this realm was in-progress. I wanted Sharkeisha to have a three star realm so bad.
