Hallo again

It is Saturday and my weekend off.

I just finished watching the movie Lee.

It is about the first woman correspondent that covered World War Two. She was a photographer and she captured what really happened in war times. The souls of people and the suffering they endured by the hand of their own species, humans.

This just brought me back to my first post about humans who are the worst when it comes to letting the sun shine over each and everyone.

Seeing the violence that we can inflict on each other without batting an eye.

How some countries feel they are the chosen race and give themself the right to play God. To be a judge and executioner over other people they deem not fit to walk next to them.

What happened in World War Two, the hologaust, is just barbaric. I just cannot comprehend that people can be filled with such violent tendencies and hatred.

Then there is a different cruelty/abuse, one that I am very much familiar with.

Sadly this cruelty/abuse I am referring to, is still seen as a taboo subject, especially for my generation. Certain things were never spoken about. It was just not appropriate and children were seen but definitely not heard. The saddest part is, many are not believed when they finally decide to speak about this cruelty/abuse.

If you are wondering what I am refering to is, sexual abuse.

But it is a story for another time.

What a long day. Can't wait for the weekend.

People always say you should not wish your life over.

Me on the other hand, cannot wait for the eternal sleep.

I pray every night, asking God to please come and take me. I am ready.

But for some reason I wake up every morning still very much alive and kicking.

Philosophical people will say, that I must still have a purpose here on earth, reason why I wake up every morning.

What if I do not want to stay for some purpose I do not even know what it is.

What if I do not even like my reason for still being on earth.

Who gave any one permission to plan my path in life for me?

What purpose can I possibly have?

Most people do not even notice me.

I get up in the morning, shower, get dressed, eat, brush my teeth and drive to work, where I mostly deal with people that irritate the shit out of me.

If I could, I would have packed one of those small camping shovels every morning, just to hit most of my colleagues in the face with.

I can just feel the satisfaction coursing through my body, mind and soul.

Or hit someone with one of those super thick old telephone directories.

Like the army lady did in the movie Basic. It just looks so flippen lekker.

Toe curling lekker.

Honestly I do not even think that this act of violence would wake some of them up.

It is just ridiculous.

If you dare lose your temper, just for a second, you just need to wait 5 to 10 minutes before you get that dreaded phone call from the manager, summoning you to the office.

There you get the same old speech, you need to be more in control of your emotions because you are working with people and this type of treatment harms their self esteem and it causes unnecessary stress and feelings of worthlessness.

WTF??????

It is this pussy footing around that makes people so entitled.

And I am sick and tired of this.

Do your work, timeously, correct, stop asking stupid questions over and over, and I will be the easiest person to work with.

Do not waste my time.

Another thing I hate, people who act as if their time is more important than yours.

Drop me something if you feel like this some days.

Safe space for like minded people to vent a bit.

Hi

I am a 48 year old female living in South Africa.

Contrary to most beliefs there are no lions or any wild animals wandering around our streets.

If you think about the above statement, it is actually true for everywhere in the world.

The animals I am referring to is humans. We are the animals. I have never heard or seen a species that are so cruel and heartless than human beings. Animals kill out of mercy or necessity for survival.

Humans on the other hand just do it because they can.

My posts are not going to be the most interesting, not by far, but it will be about daily struggles I have, questions I am battling with or just thoughts I will have and just want to put it out there.

Hope to get people joining me in some mindless and sometimes serious conversations.

Who knows, maybe voicing the stuff going on in my head and heart can help someone get peace or get someone to voice their feelings before doing something crazy with hectic consequences.
