Niffty knew she could come on a bit too strong, climbing the boys that caught her attention and flirting…but she’d dialed it down a bit with this one when she sensed he was a bit flighty. Niffty quickly learned he way to appeal to this one was pure mayhem and bloodshed.

She was really good at that too.

An airy giggle left the little tick as she leaned further against his chest. “You know, we’re allllways in this hotel. We should go somewhere and have some fun…with knives. Knives are fun.”

He often noticed that she was no stranger to climbing on others. For that reason he was glad the two of them were close around the same height. It made it harder for her to do that to him. Not that he would complain, but there would be times that he may not like that.

He bites down his lower lip as he shakes his head.

"Knives are fun, but I'd rather not be around them like in the way you are thinking Niff, if that's okay." He didn't mind still being around her, but he didn't really want knives thrown into the mix.

A flutter in her heart wasn’t rare for Niffty. She felt it for almost every man she came across, but at some point with this little scientist it became more than a flutter. He was one of the only ones here that really interacted with her, and matched her manic energy. He was a bad boy, with a sugar center that she wanted to draw out.

“Ehehe, you don’t have to call me ‘Miss.’ You can just call me Niffty!” She leaned against his lab coat a little. “Or you can call me whatever you want…”

Everything that had to do with the word feelings were still new to him. Hell, even being around other demons more than usual was something that he was still getting used to. So, to have this close connection with someone like Niffty he didn't really know what to think about it. Or what it meant really. He just knew that he didn't mind her being around. And he didn't mind her being close to him either.

As she leaned against him, he could feel his heart beat a little faster. And it didn't help that his cheeks might've felt a little warm. "Um, I mean I think Niffty is just fine then."

Well, this feeling was very new. His heart fluttered a little at the comment that Niffty had made. He might've come to the hotel for ulterior motives, but he did enjoy his time being around the insect. She was different from the others and she protected him while he helped out the hotel. Something that he also wasn't used to having someone do for him. In fact, much like a certain ex colleague of his; he wasn't used to having friends.

"Wait, really?" Baxter fumbled with the hem of his coat and let out a chuckle. "You've become someone I do enjoy spending time with around here, Miss Niffty."

When he first came to Voxtek he admired Vox. And because of that it was why he applied to work here in the first place. He could put his scientific skills to use and he had a really great lab to work with. But after time his idea of Vox being a great leader faded. And Baxter wasn't sure how much longer he could take of being Vox's puppet. "It might be wise to think about my opinion when I do a lot of the work around here."

Once his bulb on was pulled on from his head, a loud groan of pain escapes him. How he hated when Vox did that. It made him want to do so many things to that television head. Alas he was more of a lover not a fighter. (Unless he was pushed enough to do so.) Baxter backed away from Vox once he was let go. Holding onto his bulb as he glared at the other. "At this rate the tank seems like much more of a good time." Baxter mumbles.

There had to be some way out of this life. He was getting to the point where being here was no longer to his liking. It hadn't been in a long time. And now a days it wasn't like he and Vox really saw eye to eye on things. And he was ready to make himself scarce.

"Whatever you say." There's a roll of his eyes in the process. He was tired of this. Having to answer to him all the time. He needed to get out of here. That was his main goal now. But first it seemed like he'd have to make these sharks have lazers. 'How original' Baxter thought.

He can't help but chuckle, he wasn't frightened in the slightest by his outburst. In fact he was quite used to his sudden outbursts. Baxter crosses his arms over his chest while he looks up at the other. "No I don't think it'll scare you." Baxter knew that Vox wasn't one that was easy to frighten. But he did have an idea that may get him thinking about stopping this crazy scheme.

"You seem to be forgetting who runs the whole security system. And if I'm out then you're going to have trouble finding someone that knows this system as well as I do."
