I donât really know what people generally call this method of sigil making, so Iâm just calling it âLetter Shapingâ because youâre using the basic shapes from certain letters. This is the most common form of sigil making, and it allows the most creative influence. As you see above the sigils are for nearly the same thing, yet the sigils came out completely different. Not because the purpose was different, but because I approached them both a different creative way, and thatâs what I like so much about this method. Thereâs a lot of freedom and personalization involved.
(UPDATE: Hereâs a link to a guide on how to deconstruct letters down to basic shapes)

I am going to break you into four pieces like a fucking kit kat
How to: Dandelion Oil
Step 1: Harvesting dandelions
Harvest dandelions (from fields / lawns / gardens that havenât been sprayed with chemicals) in a sunny day, not too early in the morning so that the dew has evaporated.
Only harvest full ones! They should be open and not have any dark spots. You can cut them just under the flower heads, as weâre only using the flowers.
How many you harvest is really up to you! Depends on how much oil you want to make / the size of your container. Please note that dried flowers take up wayyy less space than fresh ones so gather at least twice the size of your container if you want to fill it completely (it is not necessary though).
Step 2: Wash & Dry the dandelions
Dandelions are usually full of small insects. Be sure to wash them carefully, but donât crush them! A good idea if you canât get all the insects to come off is to leave the flowers spread out on a towel for a few minutes (not too long though) and see if insects come out of their own.
I know some people only let the flowers wilt overnight, but I prefer to let them dry longer, up to 3/ 4 days. This way mold wonât grow in the jar. Remember to place the flowers on a towel in an airy room, where they wonât be disturbed while they dry. Turn the flowers upside down after 1 day to help the drying process.
Step 3: Making Dandelion Oil
When the flowers are ready, put them in a jar and cover them with olive oil: you donât have to fill the whole jar, just enough to cover the dandelions. Remove air bubbles with a knife and stir a bit.
Cover the jar with cheesecloth / cotton: this way, mold wonât form and ruin your oil. Tie the cloth with an elastic and place the jar in a sunny spot for 2 weeks. Do not leave it longer than that! Otherwise mold will grow.
After two weeks, strain the flowers: you can use a funnel to pour the oil in another bottle/jar.
The dandelion oil is ready! Do not leave it in the sun, and if possible store it in a dark glass bottle/jar.
Please remember that you must use it within a year of making it, so label the bottle! (Trust me, you will forget when you made it)
đrainy day cleansing ritualđ
hello loves! this is my go-to ritual for when i need a serious session of cleansing, grounding, and everything in between.
itâs best performed on a rainy day, but as always my spells and rituals are completely adaptable. if you donât have something, find a substitute; if you donât want to do something, donât do it. simple! i hope this ritual helps you get back to your own kick-ass self.
the physical space ritual (optional, but awesome)
clean your space. yes, i mean physically. having a clean, comfortable space to relax in is essential for your mental health. itâs also a great way to get any negative energy out of your body. pour all that emotion into your cleaning, and create a super-awesome space that makes you feel all warm and happy inside.Â
add something new. whether this is a storebought decoration youâve been waiting to put up, or an idea for a switch around of furniture, change something up in your space. thereâs nothing like the refreshing feeling of your space looking brand new, and youâll have something to be proud of as well!
cleanse your tools, your bed, your walls⊠do your usual space-cleansing ritual that involves deep cleansing of everything you use on a day-to-day basis. getting rid of any built up energy will make the space you spend your time in feel so much fresher, i promise you.
find a comfy space, light your favourite cleansing incense (mine is lemon) sit back and relax, and move on to the self-cleansing ritual!
the self cleansing ritual
this is best performed on a rainy day, but if you canât do that, try to visualise rain all around you. rainy mood music can help with this!
sit in a calm, comfy space where you can relax, and start to clear your mind. if you have a favourite go to method for meditation, use that. if not, i like to imagine my mind literally clearing, physically pushing all thoughts out of it.
concentrate on the sound of the rain. let the noise overtake your thoughts, and visualise the rain physically washing away any negative energy thatâs built up over time.
get cathartic. cleansing can be as gentle or as brutal as you want. got any pent up emotions? let them out now, if youâre comfortable with it. just feel whatever you need to feel, and let it go. imagine the negativity just falling away from you with the rain.
as negative energy is leaving your body, visualise your personal energy drawing positivity from the earth beneath you. feel that strength wash over your body, and envisage your whole body being filled with happiness and gentle joy.
once youâre done meditating and cleansing, take a moment to just sit and exist. take as much time as you need to chill out and wake up.
anything after this should be done as self care, for you and you alone. got a favourite tv show? watch an episode. finally got enough money for something youâve been eyeing for a while? buy that, and treat yourself. honestly, after all this you deserve a bit of self love!
so loves, thatâs what i do when i need a serious cleanse and self-love session. i hope it helps you if you use it!
