We saw the different methods of operations via Kai tonight. But when it comes to Ally, I think she originally had a hit put on her (probably by Ivy) and the Insane Clown Posse decided to terrorize her before they kill her. Kai took place in the little jabs like throwing coffee in her face and scaring her at her front door. Everything was set to take her out until Ally accidentally killed Pedro. I think that was a switch for Kai to not terrorize her but to bring her into the cult because it shows that she has reached a breaking point (like Beverley did. The same breaking point that intrigued him to seek her).

This is where he’s going to work his magic and play hero like he did with Harrison and Beverley, promise Ally protection from the protesters and slander of her name. However, he’s going to continue to make her life a living hell until she becomes 100% broken, in need of a helping hand, and takes his offer. This is when Kai swoops in to be that shoulder of dependency. This is when he uses Ally’s vulnerability against her and turn her into a follower like the rest of them. This is their plan.
