the BB Tag Awards are BACK for bb22 All Stars!!
What are the BB Tag Awards?
Hosted previously by an anon, @dayslostson, @knightjackie and now myself, the Tag Awards have existed since BB18! They are a way to spread positivity and have fun in the tag by recognizing great moments on the show and in our community.
Toward the end of the season, via surveys I organize and put out from this blog, the bbtumblr community will make nominations for awards both in the actual show, as well as to celebrate the tag! Then, after the nominations are finished there will be a vote on who should win each category. Finally, I will announce who won and the winners will have bragging rights until next season! I will do the organization, so you all can just relax and participate!
What sort of categories will be awarded?
A full list of categories will be announced at a later date, and I will be accepting suggestions for new categories! In the meantime here are a few select examples:

When will the voting happen?
As far as I can tell, October 28, 2020, is the speculative Finale Date for bb22. A voting schedule will be released at a later date.
Unless you’re talking about the US Presidential election, in which case that is November 3rd. And, if you need any help understanding how to register to vote in your location just ping me and I can help you look it up!
What do I need to do in the meantime; how do I participate?
Follow this blog so you will see category announcements, updates and information for voting! Also, make a reputation for yourself in the tag! Make edits! Host or play in a bbdiscord and the like! Engage with others in the tag! Create commentary on the episodes! Campaign when we get close to nominations and voting. Most importantly—have fun watching the show!
Is this a coup d’état of KnightJackie’s reign as BB Tag Awards Host?
No! How dare you even think I’d be such a snake! 🐍 KnightJackie has stepped down and in doing so is now eligible to be nominated in any category this year!

I’ve been around in the tag since roughly *cough* bb16 *cough*. Last year, as HollyAllen24Wyoming, I was crowned the bb21 Best Content Creator. Also, I was absolutely robbed from the Dynamic Duo category between me and my bbbff (big brother best friend forever) @charlchen-moonves. Sadly, I will adhere to KnightJackie’s example and I will not be eligible for nomination this year.

Anyways! Our fandom may be absolutely bonkers, but watching Big Brother each season would not be the same without everyone here. The BB Tag Awards are what I believe to be the most unique part of the bbtumblr community, and I look forward to them every year. It is my absolute pleasure to host for bb22, and I hope to do this event justice.
