i’m going to pin this as demurely as possible heeey, so. i have been, uh, homeless (F) and living out of my car (hey, at least i have a car!!) for most of 2026. i haven’t bothered crowdfunding (i come from abject poverty, this isn’t my first rodeo), but i’m trying to get into a stable enough position to start my new job on the 29th and ideally (!!) move into a Real Place next month. this is the product of a lot of blood sweat and tears on my part, and i’m not in the clear yet. so if you like my blog, please feel free to toss a few coins into my Street Hat

so, fun life update:

i am now attempting to raise money and leave the state (of texas). i am going to explain why for the sake of transparency. (for the record—i was able to get into a way more stable position thanks in part to everyone’s help, so, thank you thank you a million times thank you, i am no longer straight up dying)

since i was 14, i’ve been in and out of the hospital for reproductive health issues. i have endometriosis, adenomyosis, chronic cyst ruptures, issues with chronic blood loss, and i have relied on access to birth control & hormones (in one way or another) for 15 years. i am also hard of hearing and sometimes have a difficult time communicating with doctors, and i am unavoidably, visibly, on-the-record transgender

as you can imagine, i’m at odds with texas at the moment, and i feel as though i would have an easier time somewhere else. i have the opportunity to (potentially) stay with far-away relatives for a while, later this year, and figure out where to go from there. it would be expensive, but not impossibly expensive, so i’m pinning my donation links again while i figure things out. (if i get to a point where i’m trying to crowdfund for a plane ticket or something, i’ll make sure to use a more trustworthy, structured platform—i’m just placing my Coin Hat back on the dash)
