Mine is colour blocked in fine 4ply cashmere-merino yarns from ColourMart in Shrewsbury. It has a good bit of length to go yet, maybe 10″ more, and a funnel or drape collar in a textured stripe of reversed stocking and stocking stitches. I’m looking forward to that part. Ideal for these balmy spring days, to wear over a long sleeve tee, or a short sleeved tee when the weather warms up, as it surely will.

And that said secret babymother wrap, sheer softest delight in cashmere cotton mix, and beautifully washable, as needs must. Perfect for air conditioning, for feeding, for wrapping a bundle, for snuggling down in the early hours. Best get it done, then.

For the technicals: it’s a complex mosaic design from the endlessly talented Liselotte, an Austrian fan of ColourMart who has made it her business to churn out these remarkable wraps. This one is my test version, I’m sure the pattern will be published sometime this summer.
