“Aloy.” Her name was muffled, but the exasperation in Kotallo’s tone made her lips curl up as she finished brushing a gentle kiss over one of the tattoos on his lower back.

“You’re supposed to be relaxing,” she chided teasingly, barely stopping a giggle from escaping when the touch of her lips against his side made him jump.

Kotallo shifted slightly, and Aloy raised her head to see his bemused expression looking at her, eyebrow raised. “The massage you offered was wonderful and quite relaxing, dear heart. Mapping each tattoo with your lips…decidedly less relaxing.”

With a laugh she leaned down and kissed another tattoo on his side, his muscles twitching away from her. “Who would have thought you were ticklish? But all right, no more kisses just to make you jump.” She leaned up, brushing kisses to the tattoos on his shoulders until he relaxed back onto the pallet.

Aloy waited another minute for Kotallo to fully relax again before sliding down and kissing the back of his thigh, teeth nipping a tattoo as he let out a startled sound and jerked away.

Laughter fell from his lips as Kotallo sat up, shaking his head at the wide smile she gave him. “You are a menace…and I love you.” His laughter muffled as she brought her lips to his, his arm wrapping snuggly around her waist and pulling her into his lap while the kiss lengthened.

I have had a blast playing through Kotallo's route in Focus On The Heart the last couple nights with one of the writers @mayalli. Y'all I have been SO spoiled because she'll stop and say "OH I wrote this!" or give some BTS tidbit about the music or a CG. Maya and @fogsblue did such a great job writing for our Marshal McGrumpy! I can't wait to play through it again. (I missed "the wet one??? 😳" IYKYK)

HFW Fan Game Released!

In celebration of the release of the fan game/visual novel @focusontheheart today, I was moved to attempt this Hades-ish style portrait of my favorite Horizon character.

I was doubly honored to be asked to do an illustration for the Kotallo narrative (not the above, you’ll have to play to see it!)

A lot of excellent and dedicated fans worked hard on this game and I can’t wait to play it myself this weekend. Check out @focusontheheart to download it for FREE from itch.io.
