The god was surprised to see the smaller skeleton in front of him, for several reasons. One being it had been a while since he had found someone smaller than he was. Another, being that the other was eating a raw rabbit from his forest. That’s…odd, and a tad bit disturbing, but he was not unaware of the circle of life. As long as they were putting the kill to use, and not killing for just the fun of it, he had no problem with it.
Rusa was above the other in a tree branch, observing. This skeleton looked really roughed up, and very hungry. What had happened to this poor thing. Softly and slowly, Rusa drifted down to the ground below behind the tree he had been perched in–he didn’t want to startle the other by just dropping in front of him, this one looked like he had been startled enough.
Walking was probably his best bet in his mind, and so he did. He approached from behind the tree, trying to keep his posture as nonthreatening as possible.
Standing at only a little more then 2′, it was no wonder how the other male was taller then him. Although it wasn’t a good thing, since he had a harder time then most getting food on his own. And -- well, he ate more then three times his body weight in one meal easily. It also is a good reason why he had come to be such a skittish thing. He stopped his ravenous eating just long enough to tilt his head at the sound of movement close-by, letting out a soft, alerting chur, he turned his skull, sockets widening in shock and fear at the sight of someone approaching him. He froze for a moment before slowly shifting. One more small movement from the other and he would be dashing towards the nearest bush, leaving his meal behind. Hoping that it would appease this stranger from trying to eat him instead. The leaved of the bush quaked along with his deep, upset shivers, curling up into a little ball with soft sounds escaping him.
